I entered the animal care field in 2011 as an animal caregiver at a well known farm animal sanctuary in upstate NY. After a year of fully immersive animal care training, I moved to Chicago and accepted a position as a full-time Animal Caregiver and Foster Coordinator for PAWS Chicago, one of the largest no-kill shelters in the country. Now, at 12+ years in the animal welfare industry, I am currently working as a veterinary technician at a Veterinary Emergency hospital, in addition to independently dog walking and petsitting. I am passionate about the health and well being of all animals and enjoy enriching the lives of your best friends! I have extensive experience with pets with behavioral challenges, as well as medical needs. I have seen hundreds of animals rescued from some of the worst conditions imaginable, and it brings me immense joy to care for pets in their loving homes! After all these years in the animal welfare field I am well-versed in all aspects of care and am prepared to handle any special needs your best friend may have. I am also certified in animal CPR! I take a lot of pride in offering exceptional service, and my goal is to keep your companion animal as happy as possible while allowing you to enjoy your time away, stress-free.

Safety, trust & environment
For in home care, I usually follow your companion's lead. If they are super friendly and playful, we will play the whole time! If they are shy and nervous, I will give them space. I always make sure to do whatever will make your animal most comfortable, and of course offer lots of treats (and slow blinks for the kitties).

Schedule
Petsitting is my main priority, but I do have a part time job than can occasionally make specific schedules/time-frames a little tricky. I'm pretty flexible, so let me know your preferences and we will hopefully find a way to make it work!

- I am very comfortable with pets of all ages and breeds, but I have a special soft spot for seniors and rescue pets! I would love to know your pet's feeding schedule, favorite toys, and hiding spots in your home. Of course a brief medical history is important if applicable. The more info, the better!
