I booked Maura specifically for house sitting because I wanted Tucker to have companionship and consistency while we were away for two weeks. Unfortunately, the care provided was much more limited than I expected from either a house sitter or a pet sitter. She never spent any significant amount of time at my house or with Tucker. Her visits were often only 10–15 minutes and were extremely inconsistent with his normal schedule. I provided his normal schedule and explained that it could flex by an hour or two. We had agreed in advance to two evenings when she would be later than his normal evening potty break, but there were multiple other occasions when she arrived several hours late for his normal feeding and/or potty breaks. Tucker was never visited midday for a check-in or potty break, and on multiple occasions he went more than 10–12 hours without a documented opportunity to relieve himself. He had several indoor accidents while we were away. Maura was initially responsive when I expressed my concerns, and I appreciate that she tried to make some adjustments. She explained that she was doing her best to fit Tucker into her schedule. While I understand that people have other responsibilities, she did not communicate the demands of her schedule before we left or how they would affect the level of care she could provide. The overall experience did not meet my expectations.
Maura did a great job doing drop-in visits for my cat while I was away for the weekend! She spent plenty of time with him so he wasn’t lonely!

Maura was able to accommodate our last minute booking, our dogs were very happy and well cared for while we were away!
