What sets me apart is the amount of hands-on experience I have with both cats and dogs, along with my focus on making each pet feel comfortable and cared for in their own routine. I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, from shy cats who need extra patience to energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and enrichment. I’m comfortable giving medications, keeping up with feeding and litter routines, handling longer walks and play sessions, and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits. I also like to tailor each visit to the individual pet, whether that means a long walk and a game of fetch, or a quiet afternoon of cuddles and treats. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, patience, and care while their people are away.

When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I follow their specific instructions to maintain consistency in the pets’ routines. I make sure to spend quality time with them, offering companionship and attention to ease any anxiety from being away from their owners. I also keep the clients updated with regular photos and reports on their pets’ well-being. My goal is to provide peace of mind for pet owners, as I know how stressful it can be to be away from our little fur babies.

Matty’s an incredibly conscientious and attentive sitter. Provides well-written updates and constantly communicates how our cats are doing. I always feel quite secure when he’s scheduled to check on our cats because I know we’ll always know precisely what they’re like during his stay!
Matt & Emily were absolute lifesavers. Our dog got sick less than a week before our scheduled vacation with Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome. After an ER trip and follow up vet visit, we had to leave our dog with them in a state where she needed constant puppy pads out since her stool was liquid and she couldn’t hold it, and a twice daily medication regimen. When I explained the situation, Matt & Emily were so kind about the added complication and confirmed that they were still willing to watch our 3 pets. They sent me daily updates about her meds, how well she was eating, and her stool condition, checked in about increasing her activities as she recovered, and just overall gave me such peace of mind being away from my recovering dog. Matt & Emily also completed her recovery on hero mode because she’s shy around new people. They followed my advice on how to speedrun befriending her and I could see her comfort level rising in each new set of pictures. They sent lots of pics each day of all the pets, and gave me little updates on what each one did that day. This was so lovely because they documented things like my cat Paul sitting on their shoulders (which means he liked/trusted them), cat Freddie hanging out on their laps (which means he got his cuddle quotas filled), and dog Björk playing with her toys/going for walks. All in all, this was an above and beyond experience. They even dropped off a stool sample at the vet! Highly highly recommend them and will definitely trust my babies with them again.
Matty was amazing! Not only did I get wonderful pictures and updates on my cats while I was away, but I can tell my cats were so comfortable and happy with him. He's excellent--can't recommend enough!
Matty has now dropped by 3 different periods to take excellent care of my senior cat! He is great at communication and leaving thoughtful notes everyday so I can be at ease when I’m away. Plus the super cute photos he always attaches are great too!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate morning and evening visits, walks, and longer stays depending on your pet’s needs. I like to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible while making sure they get plenty of playtime, exercise, and attention. I’m also happy to work around specific feeding, medication, or bathroom schedules.
