I am available every morning up until around 1pm and some days throughout the week I can be available at all hours of the day.

in my own home, my dog has a lot of freedoms. I’m very trusting of him as he has a great understanding of what he shouldn’t really be doing throughout the day. We make time for several walks littered throughout the day and since he’s so high energy we try to fit in hikes, and trips to the dog park whenever we can throughout the week. I would prefer to create care plans with each individual pet owner so I can seamlessly fit my services into both you, and your pets schedule.

Anything you as the owner feel I should know before hand. Also things that make your pets uncomfortable, I hope to respect your pets to the best of my abilities so they can focus on enjoying their walks in a stress free environment.
A typical day
I love being outside, so depending on your pets energy level we can soak up the sun or go on a hike together. I like to bring a bag with me regardless of the activity full of water, treats and toys in case we find a nice field to get some exercise/play time in.

Pet care experience
Ive always been around dogs for as long as I could remember, even now. I’ve always handled all the needs for family pets growing up and now I have my own to look after. From my experience I know every dog is different and I always look forward to the challenge of understanding and meeting the needs of every pet I come across.

Matthew walked our 2 dogs while we were abroad. He was very communicative about the dogs' behavior and conditions. One of our dogs was a bit difficult to walk, but since Matthew was very communicative, we were able to assess the situation and find a solution that worked for the time being. Also, he was always very caring and kind. The dogs like him, and I felt like I could trust him with our dogs.
Matthew helped me out in a bind after another walker, (Jordan M.) cancelled on me after the time he was scheduled to start my dogs walk. I was already out of town , which left me scrambling to find an alternative. Matthew fortunately was available and showed up later that day to walk my dog. Thank you! He was also flexible, and completed.. most of the walks he was hired for.
Matthew really came through. I booked another dog walker at first that ended up canceling on me right before I was due to go on vacation. Matthew made himself available for my puppy, Darla. He is great with her and she loves him. I will be booking him again for sure.
Wonderful friendly service. My new rescue is very comfortable with Matthew and he goes out of his way for her. Excellent choice for Teaneck and Bergenfield dog owners.
