I can play fetch provided you have a fenced in yard. I also will play tug of war, really any sort of game or training I would be happy to provide with some instruction during our meeting.
Information Matthew S. would like to know about your pet
What is your dogs routine? What sort of training exercises would you like me to perform? What is your dogs favorite game? Are there any injuries I should be careful of?
A typical day
The most important thing I will do is to provide as close to the same routine as you already have with your pet. I will provide a walk or two a day, whatever length is necessary. I can take dogs for a light jog on owner request if your dog prefers. Monday through Friday I will be gone for four hours at a time, returning at lunch for a walk or some playtime before heading back to work. Feeding will happen when you normally feed your dog, same thing with the walk outside of the weekday lunch walk. Post work, we will have another walk or session outside. If I am house sitting, I’ll turn in early and the house will be quiet by 9 or 10, letting out the dog quickly before bed.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of multiple pet sittings through Rover, and I’ve dealt with a variety of dogs. One of my dog sittings was an older Golden Retriever named Bella with a foot injury. I monitored her closely and stayed in touch with the owner. Another was an energetic girl named Momo who loved to move on her path, I was attentive to where she wanted to go while still being in control. I always strive to not just take care of every dog well, but to focus on their individual needs to make their time with me a blast!

Matthew was communicative and professional. He took great care of our pups and our home.

Matthew was a last minute house sitter. The previous one left rover 3 days before we weee to leave for an international trip. He took care of our dogs and he took care of the house while we were gone. He did leave us notes and photos during his time there and the dogs all really liked him.

The dogs loved Matthew as soon as they met him! We had a couple of challenges. A snow storm, a dog with seizures, and a dog that apparently has had enough of the cold. Matthew followed our routine through freezing iced conditions and took care of my little guy through a seizure episode. I usually board the dogs and they come home traumatized. This time I came home to happy fur babies that were still in their routine. Would highly recommend!
