I’m an engineer and am able to work from home on Monday and Friday with a great deal of flexibility during my working hours to take breaks for walks, attention, playing fetch, etc!

We have a nice spacious home here in Glendale with a desert landscape backyard. While we don’t have a lawn in the backyard, there are several large open grass areas in our Arrowhead Ranch neighborhood as well as dog parks nearby. My wife and I love dogs the same way we would love a child. They’d be allowed on the couches and beds and can hangout with me wherever they’d like. While I’m working remote I can of course sit next to them so they won’t be alone. Overnight they’d be welcome to lay wherever they like! If preferred I could have a small fenced in area on the tile floor in our living room or even in the bedroom.

A typical day
I can be very flexible to your preferences! We can go for walks multiple times a day (except for in extreme heat of course). Run around or play fetch with them in the big grass park areas nearby, relax indoors with cool AC, belly rubs, back scratches, etc! I never get bored with a dog! During the remote work days I may need to be in a meeting for up to an hour or two but I am very flexible in being able to step away or leave early to check in later. Lastly we don’t have any pets ourselves and it’s just my wife and I in the house, along with the regular birds we have in the backyard that frequent our fountain and feeders.

I grew up with two amazing labs (Thunder and Storm) that we adopted as pups and they lived very happy and spoiled lives in the best way. Since then I’ve taken care of several of our friends’ dogs of all shapes and sizes!

Matthew is an absolute gem! My husband and I were so thoroughly impressed with the care he provided for our German Shepherd. Even though Phoenix is a big guy, he is a total mushball at heart, and Matthew’s extremely calm and genuine demeanor was the absolute perfect match for him. Matthew went above and beyond to make sure Phoenix felt completely comfortable and safe, taking him on plenty of walks and keeping him happy. He is incredibly polite, educated, and kind. We also so appreciated the constant updates he sent us, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Matthew is just a genuinely good person, and we trust him implicitly. We cannot wait to leave Phoenix with him again!
I have known Matt, and his wife Emma for several years and they have cared for my dogs numerous times. They are trustworthy, kind, and detail oriented. As a veterinarian, I don’t trust a lot of people to care for my animals but will always trust Matt and his partner to care for them.
Matt is a wonderful human...he enjoys taking care of our sweet pup and is kind and loving. He is very attentive and responsible. He will be caring and dedicated to his service for other pet lovers.
