Pet care experience

Caring/Efficient Animal Buddy💜🐾😺

I grew up with cats, dogs, and more. I mused about becoming a veterinarian as a child. I’ve always seen our pets as family, and I treat animals that way—like I would anyone—with respect and consideration. I’ve felt an innate responsibility to care for my fellow creatures as long as I’ve lived. I’ve had experience housesitting, petsitting, farmsitting, and caring for all sizes of animals. I have experience with rats, mice, ferrets, rabbits, turtles, geckos, snakes, fish, chickens, horses, and more! I also travel across the continent for work! I’d be happy to help!

Safety, trust & environment

Your family deserves a good person to do the good job they are hired for—and to go above and beyond to ensure both pet(s) and owner(s) feel comfortable and satisfied with the service they hope for! My aim is to provide diligence, comfort, and a friendly demeanor while making sure your animal feels almost as loved as they do when they are by your side. Simply, I’ll make sure your pet receives the walks, food, treats, pets, and talks you might wish for :) And I’m no pet psychic, but I’ll give anything a try! I have taught children across BVSD, mentor all ages across Boulder County, and serve several of your neighbors on and off this platform in various other ways. I’ve got loads of experience in patience, care, responsibility, and living on the Front Range! I cannot host dogs in my home, but I perform all other services. Note: A housemate owns a cat which is kept separately. For housesitting, I need to be aware of any individuals’ visits to the property during our booking (housemates, contractors, family, friends, property associates, guests, etc.) to ensure security and safety. I do not accommodate guests for myself, your animals, or your property unless approved between us. I’d prefer to know before the booking as opposed to having to question you or a stranger about their business at your home. I have studied parvoviruses via AVMA, Cornell’s Baker Institute for Animal Health, and AKC web resources. Your dogs’ health is my top priority. Please inform me if your pup has not been vaccinated, but know I will efficiently sanitize myself between each and every visit I have to maximize safety. I offer custom care for pups who need full-time supervision, a required wakeup mid-sleep, or have frequent overnight needs. These situations may come with a different rate based on the level of care required. Also, please note: I collect mail and collect trash to the curb as an extended service, free of charge. I will also take care of a few houseplants. I may assess an additional fee based on the level of gardening or other unordinary tasks you require. Please communicate with me prior to meeting what services other than petcare you will need.

Schedule

Customized bookings and deals available to all! All clients I’ve served may inquire about locking rates! I am very flexible—ask me about any changes in schedule, and I will do my best to accommodate you! If my schedule shows I’m unavailable, please reach out to see if I can still help. If Rover shows I do not have housesitting availability, be sure to ask! In the case I already have a housesit for the day in question, there is a legitimate method to hold two on the same day (if one client doesn’t have overnight needs that day—ending and starting different sits on the same day,). If it works for both owners and me, I can make it happen! I’m happy to serve your family! I’m available at most hours of the day and will always try to respond promptly—even in an emergency!

I’d like to know their demeanor, any special requests, medication/walk requirements, and if they’ve ever had a history of violence or not getting along with anyone. Anything that would help me to or prevent me from providing a good service and being a good friend to your pet is good to know. Inform me of all animals you’re aware of that will be free to interact with me at any visit, walk, or housesit. They need to be registered on the platform—even if they are not a cat or dog (you may register other animals as either a cat or dog). If there is anything beyond animal care requested for visits, housesits, etc., please discuss this with me, and I’d be happy to help! The following animals are prohibited from service by Rover’s terms: “…(a) exotic or inherently dangerous pets such as venomous snakes or constrictors, primates, wolves or wolf hybrids, non-domesticated cats, alligators, horses or other livestock; (b) any animal whose ownership or third-party care is prohibited under applicable law; or (c) any animal that has a history of, or which has been trained for, attacks on pets or people.” Please inform me if your dog has not been vaccinated for parvo. Please let me know what injuries and diseases your pet(s) may have (situational or chronic)—especially if there is any terminal illness. Nothing would prevent me from accepting a booking request (and I don’t discriminate between clients (human or non-human!), but it is important I enter into our arrangements prepared and studied to best care for your family. I reserve the right to increase the cost of a booking if I am caring for an animal with a terminal illness, so please discuss this with me before the booking begins. I answered a Rover question of my ability to administer injected medication with “Yes.” This means I am able to do it. I am able. However, they list this ability as a “skill” on my profile. I would not agree it is a skill of mine and I have no prior experience with intravenous material. Please let me know if this is a requirement, and I will request that you introduce and teach me how to achieve successful intravenous administration with your animal(s).
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
