Information Matthew P. would like to know about your pet

I am open to care for any and all breeds, but I have a soft spot for larger breeds that like to play. I have cared for special needs dogs and have no problem giving them extra attention.

A typical day

I live in a very quiet neighborhood in the middle of nowhere. I am more than happy to take walks up the road or just throw a ball around the yard. My older dog just likes to chill on one of the 2 decks and watch the bunnies in the yard.

Pet care experience

I have been taking care of dogs for over 35 years and have had up to 3 rescues living in my home at one time. I have cared for a boxer that lost a leg to cancer and had a megaesophagus issue and had to be hand fed will sitting up. About a year ago I adopted an 11 year old Mastiff mix, Walter, to keep my 14 year old Shepard/Rottweiler mix,Gus company. Recently I had to say goodbye to my best friend of 10 years when Gus passed. Many have said that I love dogs more than people and I will always say "Hello" to dogs I see walking.
