I provide care in your cat's own home, where they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I will closely follow any instructions you provide for feeding, fresh water, litter box care, medications, playtime, and any other parts of their daily routine. I have experience with all forms of classic cat equipment as well as the newer high-tech options, including automated feeders, fountains, cameras, and the various litter robots cats have somehow convinced us they need. I'll treat your home respectfully, make sure everything is secure when I leave, and provide photos and updates after visits so you can relax knowing your cat is being well cared for while you're away.

Excellent. Matthew was able to accommodate me last minute, which I really appreciated. He was very responsive and stayed in contact with me regarding my cat’s care. While my cat hid (typical) while he was at my house, Matthew left the food and water as directed and attempted to find Princess for play. I will use him again.
This Summer, Matt took care of our cat, Lou, while my husband and I were away for 5 days. We were very nervous to leave Lou home alone…he is an extremely timid 15 year old cat, and recently his best buddy and litter mate had died. We were just looking for someone to check in, feed, and clean up the litter box once a day. We honestly assumed Lou would be scared and would hide, so we didn’t expect much more than the basic care. Well, we were wrong! On the first day of his caretaking, Matt must have been able to earn Lou’s trust, because we received pictures and videos of him petting Lou, and we could instantly tell how happy Lou was! We just couldn’t believe our little scaredy cat was interacting, purring and nuzzling! Matt has a special way about him, and our cat sensed that. Beyond demonstrating a special touch with our stressed cat, Matt proved himself to be professional, trustworthy, and detail oriented. He continued to visit Lou and we received daily reports, pics and videos. Matt went above and beyond for us and for Lou, and we are so grateful to have found him! He kept our place and Lou’s spaces so clean and tidy, and even brought in our mail. We knew Lou and our home was in great hands while Matt was there. We wholeheartedly recommend him!
We've trusted Matthew to care for our cat several times, and he's been great every time. He always took the time to learn our cat's routine, feeding schedule, and little quirks, and it was obvious that he genuinely cared about him. Our cat is pretty picky about people and doesn't usually warm up to visitors, but he really liked Matthew, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Matthew was also very reliable and kept us updated with messages and photos during every visit. Knowing our cat was happy and well looked after made it so much easier to be away. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive pet sitter.
Matthew cares for my cat, Jade, whenever I travel. Jade can be fickle and prefers her space, but she likes Matt and lets him pet her. His main responsibilities are to feed her, change the water, and scoop her litter box. He often plays with her using her string toy and sends cute photos to me. Matthew is always on time and never leaves a mess (which has been an issue with other sitters). You won’t be disappointed in Matthew’s care for your cat.
Matt took care of my diabetic cat, Jasper for the last few years of his life. Not only is he professional and timely, but I felt that he genuinely cared about my cat. He’d often send me good photos of him, which I appreciated. Jasper required shots twice a days and Matt was able to gentle administer them. I’d hire Matt again in a heartbeat to take care of my new furry friend.

Schedule
I love cats and though I have my own cat at home I always enjoy caring for new cats. Each cat sitting visit is a unique experience to find ways to bond and spend time with cats which is great. I work full time, but have a flexible schedule outside of work and am available for visits early in the morning, evenings, and late at night. I'm happy to work around your cat's normal routine and schedule visits at the times that work best for them. On weekends, I have even more flexibility throughout the day.
