Experienced Dog owners and walkers!
When I was 16 our family got two miniature Schnauzers and I've been a dog lover ever since! Now that I've moved out and now live with my fiancee (Raissa, pictured) we miss having the company of dogs and before we get one of our own would like to trial having them in our lives on a more short term basis. We both work from home, so can have someone at home at all hours of the day. We have no children in the house and a secure garden. We have recent experience of looking after dogs for weeks at a time and know lots of good walks near our home too! Ideally looking for smaller hypoallergenic dogs, but would be open to other breeds. We have had one great experience on Rover last year with Oscar but have had our diary closed so far this year as we are awaiting a foster dog, however we have recently reopened our diary for new bookings for a rolling six week period in the mean time.

Our little girl was really well looked after.Lots of photos and updates during her stay! Definitely a home from home ! Wouldn't hesitate to leave Pip with Matt and Raissa again! 100% recommend!
Oscar had a wonderful time with Matthew and Raissa. He was happy and relaxed. He enjoyed all his walks and spotting squirrels. We were updated with photos while we were away. I can’t praise Matthew and Raissa enough for the care Oscar received.
Matt provided exceptional care for Billy over a period of one week. The service included exploring several new and stimulating local trails, ensuring Billy received varied and engaging exercise. A standout aspect of Matt's service was his commitment to client communication. We received regular video updates detailing Billy's outings, which clearly demonstrated his enjoyment and positive engagement. This level of transparency was highly reassuring. Furthermore, Matt demonstrated excellent attention to detail, including the thoughtful touch of sending Billy home with a new toy. Based on the high quality of personalized care and outstanding communication, we are highly satisfied with the service and unreservedly recommend Matt to other dog owners.
Title: Excellent Care, Great Communication, and New Adventures! We can't recommend Matt highly enough! He took such incredible care of Lumi, walking him multiple times a day and making sure he got lots of exercise. Matt went above and beyond by taking Lumi to explore some lovely new trails, which I know Lumi absolutely loved. The communication was fantastic. Matt sent me loads of pictures of my pup having fun, which gave me complete peace of mind and confirmed that Lumi was genuinely having a great time. As an extra special touch, Lumi even came home with a new toy! It’s clear Matt genuinely cares for the dogs in his care. 10/10, we will absolutely continue to use and recommend his services!
Matt and Raissa have looked after my boy Roger a few times now while we’ve been away and they are amazing with him. Plenty of walks and attention throughout the day so he loved spending time with them. They’re always quick to reply when we ask for updates and easy to reach. I’ll definitely be calling whenever I need a dog sitter.

Schedule
We both work full time for the same company with one office day required per week which we do on Weds and Thursday - so someone is always at home every week day. Generally we'd be able to take the dog out in the morning before work, at lunch and after work if required.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a back garden which is fenced and leads onto a quiet avenue. Generally keep dogs on lead until I can build up trust that it will come back on command. Will be cautious around other dogs without avoiding them and allowing social time when we've built up confidence. Love cuddles and playing in the house but won't allow dogs on the bed or the sofa without covers.
A typical day
Able to do upto three (30 mins+) walks a day during the week and longer (upto 2hr) on the weekend. We have a garden to play games in and parks nearby to socialise with other dogs and play fetch etc.
