Every Pet Needs a Matt
I've had cats and dogs in my home since I was a child. Since 2020 I have been traveling the country--and beyond--as a full-time, nomadic pet sitter. I have taken care of dogs in Malibu, California; horses and pigs in Ocala, Florida; Ragdoll cats in South Queensferry, Scotland; goats in Oakland, California; and giant bunnies in Oceanside, Washington. I've given medicine to old animals, including insulin injections for dogs and cats. I'm basically the Mrs. Doubtfire of pet care. I travel sometimes with my companion, Cheri Isabella, so sometimes there will be two of us taking care of your animals.

I do not have a home so I am not able to board pets. I can only take care of pets in their own home.

Matt is a great pet sitter. If you have a choice, pick him! He has cared for our animals on more than one occasion and has always done a wonderful job. And you can sense he really loves the pets, and will provide emotional as well as physical care.

He’s calm, gentle, and genuinely loves spending time with them — it really shows in how relaxed and happy the pets are when he’s around. Matt is also extremely reliable and thoughtful. He follows care instructions carefully, keeps everything clean and organized, and always sends updates so you know your pets are in good hands. You can tell he takes the responsibility seriously, but he also clearly enjoys it. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like his own, Matt’s the one.

Schedule
I am a full-time pet-sitter. I spend most of my time working as an online writer and illustrator, so I will be around to give your pets as much attention as they need.
