Matthew and Katherine were absolutely fantastic!! I was gone for the week of July 4th and they treated Mango to a true summer camp experience. He got to play in a little pool, run around the dog park, and watch the World Cup on their couch. Truly could not have asked for a better couple to have him stay with.
This was perfect, they knew how to take care of my skittish dog. She was safe, comfortable and never alone, which I really appreciated!
Matt was great! Quick to hop on a call and get all the info about my dog. He came promptly and followed all my care instructions to the letter. Lulu can be a stubborn bulldog and he was very patient and kind with her and took great care of my apt. Highly recommend Matt!!!
We are so grateful to have found Matt and Katherine to take care of our dog and cat while we were away. I’ve never had pet sitter that was so attentive and communicative with us, and it was a great relief to have them while we were away!!

Matt and Katherine admittedly got angry and frustrated with my dog on his first night with them when he was anxious and nervous rather than comforting and supportive. Admitted they were more concerned with getting a full nights sleep and the longevity of their rug than Murphy’s health. He got nervous the first night and had a tough time settling down and in the AM, had two episodes of acid reflux. Murphy has known separation anxiety and acid reflux all of which was explained in detail to them both on my profile and in a private message prior to staying. They stated they could handle it. Got a slew of messages stating they were not able to care for a dog with these health issues. Nearly had to return from my out of state vacation early. Thankfully my best friend picked him up 10 minutes after being discharged from the hospital after a total knee replacement and is keeping him safe. Would not recommend as they are more concerned with themselves than the safety and health of a helpless and scared animal.

Schedule
I’m currently working part time/remote, so I will have an abundance of time for your pet! I also live half a mile away from Central Park and Carl Shurz park in the upper east side. As well as a dog park 5 blocks away.

I can easily set up a crate if needed, or he can sleep on our couch. There is a patio as well and I try to take them to at least two parks a day.
A typical day
I try to keep the dog active and have plenty of time outside. I work in two dog parks a day between the several parks around me. If they like to be “chased” or play fetch we will gladly participate!
