Your Pet's Home Away From Home
We are a family of animal lovers. We have a 10-year old Husky mix and an 11-year old long haired cat (but both stay in other parts of the house). Every time we go away we struggle to find trustworthy people to care for our pets and decided we want to help others in need.

Our lab Astrid had the absolute BEST time with Matt and Jen - her vacation was probably more fun than ours! She got to meet other dogs who were visiting/day boarding with Matt and Jen where they had the run of their fabulous yard. Matt & Jen are very clearly amazing dog people and they know how hard it is to not be around your pet, so they send regular updates and photos - several updates in fact, for us - which was incredibly reassuring. It was great knowing that Astrid was treated like a member of their family during their stay. We won't hesitate to book with them again.

Okay, so there’s A+, and then there’s Matthew and Jennifer. When my dog was waiting an hour or two before pickup time—tail wagging with excitement—and whenever the doorbell rang, she sprinted full speed to greet them, you know the care must be truly exceptional. My sweet puppy couldn’t wait to go with them. Best. Ever. Care.
Words cannot describe how my family, including our pup, felt instantly comfortable with this wonderful family, and they totally lived up to our expectations! They were flexible with timing and very good at communicating. Most importantly they were very nurturing and took excellent care of our darling girl ….will definitely be using them in the future!

Schedule
I work from home and my office is in the petsitting area so I get to spend all day with the pets and take care of anything they need.

Our finished basement is sectioned off from the rest of the house and the pets have ample space to play inside, as well as a 1/2 acre fenced-in yard for their exercise!
Pets
A typical day
Fetch, leash walking, child interaction, and play time with other pets when appropriate. Our children adore dogs and want us to get more so this is our way of doing that without a full time obligation.
