Matt is fantastic with animals. He enjoys and respects their quirks and different personalities. Matt has good instincts and a natural authority that allows cats and dogs to trust him. He knows when to leave the pet alone and when to engage with them, whether he is petting them, playing with them, or administering medication to them. Matt has looked after my cats while I have traveled on several occasions--these are cats who require daily medication and are prone to behavioral difficulties--and Matt has done a terrific job. On one occasion, one of my cats got very sick while I was gone and Matt was great about keeping in contact and dealing with the emergency. He gave super detailed updates, asked good questions, and went to pick up the required medication. I have complete trust in him and would gladly have him care for my pets any time.
