When dog-sitting, I make sure to spend as much time with the dog as possible. I play fetch with, walk, pet, and feed the dogs I care for on a schedule that prioritizes the dog’s needs. When staying at client’s and friend’s homes, I’m careful and organized- cleanliness and care for the dogs is my top priority. You can trust that your dog will be safe and attended to when I’m watching them.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’m not afraid of a challenge, and find it exciting when I get to care for a new dog and get to know its quirks. I’ve been dog-sitting for family and friends all my life and have even worked in a dog daycare at one point, which helped me gain the experience needed to watch over just about any dog. I also have my own dog named Luna, and she’s my best friend in the whole wide world.

I couldn't be happier with the exceptional care provided by Matt during his week-long stay in my home. Hiring a pet sitter was stressful, but I couldn't be happier with the results. In the past I only allowed long-time friends to sit my pets. I didn't have that option this time. I am so happy I found Matt. He came to my home to meet me and my pets. I could tell right away he was a patient animal lover and was interested in getting to know and have a relationship with my pets. This first meeting provided me with some reassurance. Matt provided me with regular updates and great pictures while staying at my home and my stress level continued to decrease. Matt did a wonderful job caring for my home, my 3-year-old Golden, and my 2 house cats. While on vacation I even heard from a neighbor who met Matt and commented on how great he was with my Golden. She is now interested in using Matt as a pet sitter. Not only do I recommend Matt I want to thank him again for doing such a great job.
Matthew took wonderful care of our Pepper when we were away. Not only was he dependable but he provided us with updates and was able to give Pepper her daily medication. We have boarded Pepper many times in the past but saw how happy she was to stay at home with Matthew taking care of her and will use him again next time.
For years Matthew has been our family’s trusted pet sitter anytime I need help watching my fur babies, lizard & bird. He’s not your average sitter. He is honest and caring, far beyond anyone else. He’s kind hearted and gentle, yet holds up our training requests with our puppy so there’s no disruption in teaching boundaries and skill sets. He’s definitely valued, so grateful we’ve found him!!! a +++ in our books!
