I've always had dogs my whole life. I've learned a lot about dog behaviour, training, healthcare and welfare from life experiences and from my long-term friend Jill Silver, who specialises in dog/animal behaviour, training, holistic animal healthcare, and raw feeding for dogs. My dogs are my family, and I will treat any dog in my care as such.

Matthew is a first class animal caregiver due to having a natural connection with them .. I have seen him go to extraordinary ends to help heal a sick animal within his care. He is also a natural when it comes to training his dogs, always with gentle patience and an intuitive connection. I cannot recommend him highly enough ..
I have known Matt for quite a few years and has always been a patient and passionate dog person. He has watched my big boy Doberman quite a few times some of which extended stays. We always keep in touch while my pup is away and he sends photos regularly. I highly recommend Matt!

Schedule
I currently live and work on the property with my two dogs, and being that I'm looking to turn this business into a full-time job for myself, I would be on the property 24/7, and when I do go out, it is for no more than several hours at a time. Otherwise, my dogs and I miss each other too much. 😆

Safety, trust & environment
Although the five-acre property I'm currently staying at is fenced, it's important to note that nothing is entirely dog-proof. I have a separate fully fenced play area right outside my back door which offers plenty of room for your dog to take care of their business, and safely play off leash with my two dogs as well. While my dogs can roam freely within the property's boundaries, any client's dogs would need to be on a long leash attached to me around my waist during any time outside of the designated play area. This way, I can supervise their playtime with my dogs, ensure their safety, and also build a bond with your dog. Once a client's dog has had the opportunity to build a stronger connection with me over time, playtime outside of designated area can be off-leash, and only if I am confident in the dog's ability to come back when called and only if the owner is entirely comfortable in my ability to handle their beloved furry Freind.

A typical day
I walk my dog’s religiously twice a day early in the morning and later in the evening so it’s not too hot for them in this Florida heat. My dogs are off leash on walks and your dog will be in a long leash (30’), so they can also enjoy some play time and exploring. In between walks there’s always something to do around the five acre property, and my dogs are usually not far away from me so it’s always playtime here!
