Lifelong pet lover - new to Rover
Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There's always been a cat curled up somewhere or a dog waiting by the door, and taking care of them has never felt like a chore to me. It's just what I do. I work from home, so I'm around a lot during the day and can usually work around your schedule, even for midday visits or last-minute plans. If I'm looking after your pet, you'll hear from me. I like sending updates and photos so you actually get to see how your dog or cat is doing, not just a generic "all good" message. I'm new to Rover, but pets have never been new to me. I'll take care of yours the way I'd want someone to take care of my own.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat your space and your pet's routine with respect. I follow the feeding, medication, and care instructions you provide exactly as given, and I keep your home secure the whole time I'm there. I pay close attention to your pet's body language and comfort level, especially with cats or nervous dogs who need a little more patience before they warm up to someone new. If anything seems off with your pet or your home while I'm there, I'll let you know right away.

Schedule
I work remotely, which means I'm home most days and have some flexibility built into my schedule. I can usually fit in midday drop-ins, walks between meetings, or last-minute visits that a lot of sitters with traditional 9-to-5 jobs can't accommodate. Afternoons and evenings tend to be my most open windows, but I'm generally easy to reach and can adjust as needed.
