I don't own any dogs. But I have experience caring for dogs in my family and I am open to giving your family's the same love and care.
Information Matthew G. would like to know about your pet
I like to know a pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions ahead of time. It’s also helpful to know about medical needs, medications, allergies, or mobility issues. For dogs, I appreciate knowing their walking habits, leash behavior, and how they interact with other animals or people. For cats, information about litter preferences, hiding spots, and comfort levels with visitors is helpful. I also welcome details about personality, energy level, and any behaviors to watch for so I can provide the best care possible and keep pets comfortable and stress-free.
A typical day
A typical day starts with making sure pets are comfortable and settled, followed by feeding, fresh water, and bathroom breaks. I adjust the day based on each pet’s routine and energy level. For dogs, this can include walks, playtime, and outdoor time, along with calm indoor interaction so they don’t feel overstimulated. For cats, I focus on feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, play with toys if they enjoy it, and quiet companionship. Throughout the day, I make time to check in, provide attention, and make sure pets feel safe and relaxed. I’m attentive to behavior changes and always prioritize comfort, consistency, and safety. I also keep owners updated with photos and notes so they know their pets are doing well.

Life long dog caregiver
Pet care experience
I have hands on experience caring for Labradors, Great Pyrenees, Australian Shepherd mixes, and Bernese Mountain Dogs, and I’m continually learning about other breeds such as Corgis and Siberian Huskies. I’ve cared for dogs for my family and friends and I have a genuine love for giving pets attention, exercise, and comfort. I’m currently balancing a full-time job and college coursework, which allows me to be available for pet care in the evenings on weekdays and throughout weekends. While I don’t currently have dogs of my own, I treat every pet I care for like part of the family, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just lots of cuddles, I’m committed to giving your pets the attention and care they deserve. Your furry friends will be in safe and loving hands!
Reviews
Matthew G. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.

Initially we were concerned about leaving our home and dog to a stranger. One thing we learned is to give clear and specific instructions in writing so the sitter knew our expectations of walking and feeding tour dog. Once we had communicated this Matt did a great job. He kept in touch and asked questions when necessary. He left the house clean and tidy and even washed the bedding and towels. Our dog was well cared for and we would use Matt again should the need arise
Matt is our go-to pet sitter and has been for years! He’s cared for all four of our pups. The dogs love him, and our time away is more enjoyable and relaxing knowing that he’s with our babies. He spends time with them and is very communicative throughout their stay. We love Matt!
