I’m pretty open to all ages and stages of cats or dogs—love them all and since I currently don’t own any getting to play with and care for yours is a perfect match when you need it!
A typical day
Depending on the pet, I can go high-energy with younger ones and throw the ball/cat toy all day long, and/or provide a calming presence for the more nervous/senior pets who are just wanting some TLC and treats 🙂

Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Matt and I’ve owned pets most of my life (lots of dogs & cats over the years). I have experience with senior dogs from using a custom made “wheelchair” to putting on doggy diapers and administering medication. I’ve worked at an animal shelter in the past where I was part of a team that brought in rescue dogs and cats as well as young puppies and kittens. We helped them stay healthy and get adopted to new homes, which was very rewarding.

Needed a last minute walk for my pup because I was ill all day! Matthew came to the rescue with very little notice. Highly appreciated, highly recommended and pup slept very well that night. A little on the expensive side for Rover but worth it as he handled my very reactive dog like a pro!
I hired Matt for house and dogsitting while I was away for New Years, and he was very friendly and professional throughout the process. He kept up my young and active dog’s daily routines well, he sent me occasional updates, and he was very responsive when I reached out with questions. I’d definitely hire Matt again.
My brother, Matt, has looked after my kitty, Peaches, on several occasions and is a very loving and responsible when it comes to pet care. I'm not just saying that because he's my brother, he really loves all animals! I would definitely recommend him to any potential pet owners who are looking for someone to take care of their dogs or carts when they need.
