I have five years experience caring for dogs, from the age of 2 and up (no new puppies). I recently lost my own dog, who was a full-feral with major trust issues when I first adopted him. With lots of patience and a safe environment, he learned to trust me. He developed a terminal cancer towards the end of his life, and I handled everything from managing meds, cooking his food, and frequent vet visits. That experience taught me to pay attention to small changes, stay calm, and keep a consistent routine. I’m comfortable with pets who need a little extra patience or structure, and I treat every animal like an individual with their own pace and personality. I only care for one family's pet(s) at a time, so if you have one or more dogs needing a private sitter, my house could be a good fit.
