Private Boarding for Just Your Pack
I have five years experience caring for dogs, from the age of 2 and up (no new puppies). I recently lost my own dog, who was a full-feral with major trust issues when I first adopted him. With lots of patience and a safe environment, he learned to trust me. He developed a terminal cancer towards the end of his life, and I handled everything from managing meds, cooking his food, and frequent vet visits. That experience taught me to pay attention to small changes, stay calm, and keep a consistent routine. I’m comfortable with pets who need a little extra patience or structure, and I treat every animal like an individual with their own pace and personality. I only care for one family's pet(s) at a time, so if you have one or more dogs needing a private sitter, my house could be a good fit.

My dog Dakota had such a good time with Matthew! She was clearly comfortable and happy the whole time, which with her being an anxious pup is rare. Communication was excellent: photo updates, quick replies, and genuine care that put us at ease while i was away. Highly recommend, I will absolutely be booking again!

Matt took really good care of our dog while we were out of town. Our dog can be reactive and fearful of people and other dogs and Matt took the extra steps to make sure our dog was comfortable. Will definitely book with him again

Schedule
I work remote, full-time, so I have lots of time at home to spend with the animals. I love to go hiking and have plenty of local trails I can take your pup to.

I keep things calm, structured, and predictable. I only host one family’s pets at a time, so your dog isn’t dealing with unfamiliar animals or a chaotic environment. My home is quiet, clean, and dog-proof, and I pay close attention to doors, gates, and anything that could pose a safety issue.
A typical day
A typical day here is really calm and steady. I keep a quiet home environment, so dogs settle in quickly and don’t feel overstimulated. We start with a relaxed morning walk and some time outside to sniff around and get their energy out. Throughout the day, I mix in short potty breaks, light play, and plenty of downtime so they can nap wherever they feel comfortable.
