Ever since I was a kid, I have always been around animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and even a gecko. I’m very aware of an animals needs and also their emotional behavior. I don’t currently own any animals myself, but i frequently have my parents Australian Sheppard over that I take for walks and occasional runs. I also used to own 2 cats for a period of 4 years. I provide cat toys, beds, scratchers, and will even allow them out in my backyard so they can chase birds and bugs.

Matthew was very responsive and quick to help care for a last minute cat sit, he loves the cats like the were his own! Thank you for being so accommodating!

I would fly my dogs to Matthew for him to babysit, he is fantastic! The love he was able to give my dogs while babysitting was phenomenal and made them feel at home while I was away. He took a them for walks, runs and had play time with them around the neighborhood. He kept me informed and sent photos and videos of their time together. He is kind hearted and very respectful. Definitely book with Matthew! ♥️

Schedule

I currently work full time, but I only live 15 minutes away from home. I typically go in around 6 am and return home for an hour or so and then head back to work. All throughout the week I come home for lunch and always home no later then 5:30 pm.

Safety, trust & environment

I have cameras around the home and inside the home that has live monitoring. I also have fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide sensors that is connected to ADT in the event of emergencies that I am not able to respond to. If your animals need medicine I can definitely handle that. If your animals love to hike and be outside, then I will take them on my adventures while ensuring I stay within their fitness range.

A typical day

For dogs, I will take them for smaller walks throughout the week and on weekends we can go for bigger walks in new areas or even on hikes.

Let me know if your animal has medication or special requests so l can accommodate you and provide you comfort and confidence in my care abilities. I am very comfortable with giving oral medication (pill or liquid in all types of forms) and with giving any type of shots (when mine were young i got there boosters from Tractor supply and did it myself). Please be completely honest about your animal's behaviors, I am pretty adaptable to the nature of your pet (many potty breaks, accidents, adjustment behaviors or anything to note, particular dog breeds to avoid due to past trauma for your pet), just need to know ahead of time so l can prepare and change schedules as needed.
