Matthew: I've been around dogs and cats my whole life. Most recently I trained a dog to mush. She is now living with my mother as a service dog for her social anxiety. My friends often lean on me to house and pet sit. I have a lot of experience with dogs who don't play well with other dogs or have some other kind of triggers.

Matthew: Safety is a core value of mine in any aspect of my life. I will employ any safety measures required to take care of your pets. Emma: I believe in attunement and meeting your animals where they are at. Communication is a strong value of mine, and I try to lead with transparency, even around small mistakes or mishaps. I'd rather loop pet parents in than guess what to do when life inevitably happens! I'll likely blow your phone up with pictures and updates unless you specifically tell me -not- to.

We had a last minute request for drop-in sessions for my brother’s Big Bully Baby, Benny. My brother was away snowboarding and Benny was staying with my father, but was just too much dog for my father to exercise as he is having health problems. I’m on the mainland and couldn’t help out but luckily found Emma here, and she was able to go out and walk Benny and play with him two days in a row to get Benny out in the fresh air and get some energy out of him. She really saved the day and Benny loved his time with her. I wasn’t sure if I would find someone comfortable with Benny’s size and breed (even though he’s a big softie) so to have her come play and be comfortable with him was an extra blessing. Thank you so much!!
Emma was great! She was super communicative and my shy cat warmed to her very quickly!
Emma did a great job caring for my cat and home. Trustworthy and a great communicator. She sent me frequent updates and photos of my cat which I appreciated. Would definitely book again and recommend to others!
Matthew and Emma-kate were good communicators. The dogs were well cared for and the house was neat and tidy.
Matthew is a very nice young man who communicated with us extremely well. He took very good care of our dog and home. Our dog can be a little nervous sometimes but he just seemed to bond with her and they were great friends. House was spotless. Thank you so much Matthew for a great stay. Definitely will be contacting you again.
Luna was SO excited to see Emma and Matthew. I was appreciative they were available on short notice today as I wasn't feeling well.

Schedule
We both work in forestry on a seasonal basis, so most of the year we have a lot of freedom and flexibility. This makes on-going and repeat clients a joy to work with! Matthew is a semi-professional rock climber and Emma does some remote work from home. Our schedules are very flexible, so we will be able to take care of your fur babies, or just your house, anytime 👍 When we are house sitting, we are with your pet consistently and offer a lot of one-on-one attention and care. Your pet will only be alone when stepping out for groceries or errands. If your pet requires 24 hour care and can not be left alone due to illness or extrme seperation anxiety, an additional rate may apply for overnight sits. We genuinely love spending time with animals, and our prices reflect the premium quality of our service, attention and care. The time you pay us for is for your pet, and we intend to spend that time snuggling, walking, playing with, feeding and enriching their lives while we are together.
