I have a large fenced in yard that the dogs can enjoy anytime they’d like. I do allow dogs on the furniture as they please unless advised otherwise. I try to have a good sense of how your pet is feeling throughout the day and do my best to make them happy as can be.

If your dog takes any medications or has special requirements or dietary restrictions I’m very organized, reliable and communicative. I love to send photos of your pet during their stay or when I take them for walks! I always warn owners that I’m going to send lots of photos and don’t feel like you always have to respond! I know how much I would appreciate this if someone were watching my dog, and I make sure to do it each time!
A typical day
I love to go to the dog park, hikes, long walks through the neighborhood. I always design my days around your dogs needs. My dog loves to join the more active and friendly dogs I watch on adventures through the woods, swims in the creeks and chase in the backyard. I also get that some dogs prefer to go for short walks and snuggle up on the couch. I love getting to know dogs better each time I see them!

I understand that the worst part of your day is leaving your dog. Saying goodbye when you go to work or go out of town doesn’t have to be so tough once you get to know me. I absolutely love dog’s and gaurentee that I will provide your pup with whatever he/she needs to be happy and feel at home. If it’s just a walk I still make sure your dog is satisfied and happy anyway that I can. I have tons of experience and love my job. I also enjoy going on hiking adventures so let’s get creative and make a plan that exactly fits your dogs needs! I understand that some dogs require more than others. I can’t wait to meet your dog!

Matt took incredible care of our dog Paddington! We had come up to Lake Placid & Matt was able to watch him afternoons through evenings so we could have dinner in town. Paddington was taken on a long hike every day which he loved & we received lots of photos and updates throughout the day. Don’t hesitate to book with Matt as he’ll make sure your dog feels like they are on vacation too! By the 2nd day, Paddington was very happy to see Matt knowing that he would have a fun afternoon. Will absolutely book again next time we are in Lake Placid.
Matt was an amazing find. We came up to snowboard and needed someone to hangout with our lab while we were on the mountain. Matt went above and beyond - picked her up, sent cute photo updates, took her on hiking trails, was very communicative and easy. Highly recommend. Wish we lived closer so our dog could hang with him more!
Excellent dog sitter. Left marcy for the day so I could go do some high peaks. Matt was super flexible about the location to meet as well as the time we dropped her off and picked her up. He took her for a walk and took photos /gave updates so I wasnt worried about her. We were able to hike and grab a meal knowing that she was safe and well cared for. He will be our go to every time we are up in the area and need a pup free day. Thanks again Matt.
