Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine. Matt, the primary caregiver, works from home and has a flexible care schedule and is available to give your pets the attention, walks, and care they need daily and consistently. Cat, my wife, assists when she can.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, we'll will do our absolute best to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible. Before each booking, we'll talk through your pets schedule, habits, and favorite things so we can follow their usual routine closely and keep them feeling safe and secure while you’re away.

We want to know any information about your pet that makes them feel more comfortable and secure. Including, special routines, quirks, or preferences - like favorite toys, feeding habits, commands they respond to, or spots they don’t like to be touched, and all other specific info you would like to add. Additionally, we always need to know about any medical needs, anxiety triggers, or behavioral expectations around new people or other animals. The more details you share, the more we can tailor our care to help your pet feel safe, happy, and at home.
A typical day
Activities with your pet will depend on their personalities and owner requirements. But, in general, for dogs, that means walks/fetch/playtime, and, given enough time, heading out for a day trip trail walk. For cats, activities would include playing with toys, chasing laser pointers, quiet company, and/or snuggles.

Pet care experience
We have years of personal experience caring and loving cats and dogs. Professionally, Matt worked in the Animal Care Department at the Minneapolis Humane Society for several years in college caring for the daily needs of animals in the both the cat and dog departments. Privately, we grew up with and loved both cats and dogs, both our parents were big animal lovers. Through our experiences as a pet caretakers and owners, we've developed strong intuitios and understandings of animal behavior which we will use to tailor our approach to your animal’s unique personalities. We promise to provide calm, dependable care that helps every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away.
