Being retired and working part-time, I find myself with lot of time and availability to help those who need it, especially in a pinch. I never find myself meeting a pet I don’t click with almost immediately, so I am open to taking on new pups, felines, and of course their caring owners.

Pet care experience
My experience being solely responsible for pets and playing with pups ranges all the way back to when I was in elementary school about ~25 years ago. Over all the years many friends and family members have asked me to watch their pets in several capacities. This could be for just a few days to somewhere around 10-14 days. Taking their pets to my home, stopping by theirs a few times a day, or just taking them out on a whim when needed. I wanted to extend the same courtesy to my neighbors. When I learned what boarding rates were I couldn’t believe it. I’m in this more to help folks out who need the assistance (especially in a pinch) than I am to derive any form of surmountable income. I am retired from the United States Army and care more about helping/leading others than I do profiteering from them.

Mathew has looked after my precious child , a miniature poodle named Collette, on various occasions in the last 5 years ,including house sitting for weeks at a time during multiple surgeries. both Collette and I consider him one of the family and he visits both of us even when not asked to pet sit Collette see's him as Uncle Mathew and becomes deliriously happy every time he comes by. Definitly 5** selection to walk or look after your pet children
It is my sincere pleasure to highly recommend Matthew for any pet sitting service. He is extremely RELIABLE and professional. His interaction with my dog is always affectionate and caring and Chester is always excited and happy to see Matthew. Knowing our dog is being well cared for allows me not to worry about him when I am a away as I know he is in loving capable hands.
I’ve known Matthew for years and he is one of the only people I trust with my fur babies. He is very caring with pets and treats them as if they were his own. He even watched one of my dogs during one of the hurricanes when I was in a bind! I’d highly recommend him to anyone!
I have known Matthew for nearly ten years. I have seen him interact with his own dog, Chester, watch his friend’s dogs ….including an elderly blind dog left in his care, and my two little gangsters, Arthur and Victor. He would take my guys out walking in safe conditions, including giving his steadfast supervision while they frolicked at a very spacious dog park situated near the International Mall. Because of his kind heartedness, he also prepared a very special memorial tribute gift to a lady whose dog had died, and he had become part of the dog’s extended family. There is no one more trustworthy than Matthew.
