Matthew has watched our cats on multiple occasions. He always leaves the home better than he found it and goes above and beyond in caring for our three cats. Hairballs? No problem. Puke? Easy. The stress of their usual caretakers being away? Matthew eases all that with his calm demeanor and punctual feeding times. He really puts our boys before himself and makes travel an easy decision for us. A+. Would recommend highly.

Over the years, Matt has been kind enough to dog sit two of our dogs: Bronson, our Boxer, Luther, a Doberman with a high amount of anxiety. Matt was always responsible, communicative, and most importantly, he was respectful of our home and made sure that our dogs were fed, walked, played with, and well taken care of. Hello, A while back, there was an extended period when I was spending more time out of town than at home, and I needed someone to take care of my cats. Matt came in and took care of them. I made sure there was plenty of food and litter, and Matt took care of the rest. I would come home unannounced, and there was always food and fresh water, the litter box was clean, and everything was well taken care of. He kept me updated by text or phone, so I always knew everything was going well. He genuinely enjoyed spending time with the cats. When he was at my home with me, they would seek him out for attention, come over to have their ears scratched, and rub up against his legs. That’s because he took the time to interact with them and genuinely cared about them. Matt has a natural love and compassion for animals. If you’re looking for someone to care for your dog or dogs, you want someone like Matt.

I highly recommend Matt as a pet sitter! He looked after my Xoloitzcuintli and did an incredible job. Xolos can be sensitive and have specific needs, but Matt was attentive, patient, and deeply responsible. He kept my dog active, stuck strictly to his food and skin routine, and sent regular updates that gave me total peace of mind. Not only is he a dog owner himself, he genuinely loves animals and treats other people’s pets like his own. Any dog owner would be lucky to have him care for their pet!
