Patience is the companion of wisdom
I’ve accompanied man’s best friend for my entire life; there was never a time where I didn’t have a dog in my life. Outside of that, I have experience in rigorous training (not officially certified) and have worked as a dog groomer in the past. My most recent achievement lies within adopting my Anatolian Shepherd from the Pikes Peak Humane Society. Herbie (his name) was self sufficient for the first two years of his life, as he was found on I-25 and taken into the shelter. My boy was stubborn and smart, teaching him took a lot of self-education, love, and patience. Now, Herbie is truly one of the most well behaved dogs that I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with.

I promise to always treat your pet with love, patience, patience and respect. I’ve genuinely lived closely amongst at least 20 dogs in my lifetime, and that’s without counting my time working professionally with dogs. I’m not going to say that I’ve seen it all, but I’ve definitely seen a lot of unique behaviors and situations within dogs. Gaining a dog’s trust is always the key to building a relationship and keeping them safe.

Matt and Bailey took great care of our two girls while popping in at our home. They made sure the dogs were comfortable, well cared for, and had plenty of company while we were away. They were also great about communicating and sending updates and photos, which we really appreciated. We would absolutely recommend them and would book again!
Matt did AMAZING with my pups. It was my first time leaving my dogs alone since I got them. They’re both under a year, so I was worried how they would react, but Matt was awesome. He sent me daily videos and was in constant communication while I was gone. One of my dogs is very shy and apprehensive to people, but he definitely brought her out of her shell (I think they’re best friends now). I originally was going to board them in his home, but he graciously stayed in my home so the dogs would feel more comfortable. Even with his busy schedule, he insured my puppies got adequate exercise, didn’t spend an excessive amount of time in the kennel, and were fed properly in addition to taking care of his own dog in a separate home. He even continued with my training that I’m doing for my dogs, so there would be consistency. I sent an itemized list and a schedule of how to take care of the dogs, to include training, feeding times, bedtime, and playtime. He adhered to it perfectly. The fact that he went above and beyond like that is wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. Definitely booking again!

Matthew is a very dependable pet lover. I do not trust my English bulldog to many people as he can sometimes be a handful, but Matthew has a knack for dogs, and my dog listens and respects Matthew, he goes crazy when he sees Matt, he gives my dog the attention that he loves. I would not worry a bit if I had to leave my bulldog with Matt for a few days, I know he will be well fed and entertained. Eze thanks you.

Schedule
I am a teacher, so I have availability all Summer! When I am back in session, I will be available on weekends, early mornings, afternoons.

- As long as I’m not being constantly bitten, things will go well. I should also mention that I’m experienced with hostile dogs, and know how to prevent this from happening within reason.
