Your Pet’s Favorite Distraction!
Thanks for dropping by! I've been an animal lover my whole life and genuinely enjoy being around all types of critters. For most of my adult life I've had dogs as pets, however after my pup crossed over the rainbow bridge and I moved into an apartment I've paused on having my own pets for the time being. In 2023 I decided to take a break from my career in marketing and technology to go back to school and learn more about AI and other emerging technologies. During that time I decided to sign up on Rover to allow myself a more flexible schedule that could work with going back to school full-time. As I finished up with classes and obtained my desired certificates in late 2025, I realized that I was enjoying Pet Care Services more than sitting in front of a computer all day. Not only is the work more enjoyable, but my schedule has gotten very busy with Rover so I decided to start doing it full-time and put my office career on the backburner. As of mid 2026, I'm still enjoying my time with client's pets and do have some availability for regular and recurring bookings. While I used to take one-offs frequently, those are becoming more difficult to navigate and are now taken on a case-by-case basis. Please find some more information below regarding different types of bookings. ***** Overnights/House Sitting: Due to my current walking and drop-in schedules, I'm not typically available to provide "constant care" unless scheduled roughly 2-3 months in advance. Constant Care is a service where a pet care professional stays in the home for the majority of the day. I'm usually out walking from 7am-3pm, and so my schedule for overnights is typically something like this: 6am: feed/walk/playtime/etc for your pets 7am: depart for morning walks 11am: return to your home for feed/walk/playtime/etc 12pm: depart for afternoon walks 3-4pm: return to your home for the remainder of the evening until the next morning at 6am ***** Walking/Exercise: In addition to neighborhood walks, I also provide more intense exercise services such as running/cycling/skateboard. Many of my client's pet absolutely LOVE to run along with me and they typically get 2-3 times the amount of exercise and burned calories depending on their breed and pace. ***** Drop-ins: In addition to feeding, companionship, medication administration I can also provide additional services such as yard/box scooping, exercise, trips to the vet, dog parks, etc. ***** Training: I can provide basic behavioral training services on a case-by-case basis.

Matt did a great job taking care of our dogs and home. He kept us up to date daily with pictures and texts how the dogs were doing. He was also very responsive to is as well. When we got home, the dogs were happy and well taken care of. We already rebooked Matt for our next trip. I highly recommend.
Matt was a fantastic pet sitter for our cats, Zuko and Winnie. We always had very clear communication, he sent us great pictures every day, and he took great care of our cats and our house. Our cats loved him.
Matt is great with our dogs. We were able to take a long trip and had no worries at all. Communicated with us often, and left our place clean and tidy.
Matt is very communicative and great with my boys! They enjoyed all of their walks and I enjoyed all of the photos and updates!
He took great care of my older dog that also oddly still has a lot of energy and is a bit reactive to other dogs.
Matt took great care of our kitties while we were away. Would highly recommend.

As a self-employed web designer and photographer, I work from home with a flexible schedule that often calls for a break from my screen—perfect for some outdoor adventures with your furry friends! A proud Colorado native, I currently reside in central Longmont and know all the best spots for a tail-wagging good time. Whether it’s a stroll through a nearby park or a romp in a dog-friendly area, I’m ready to make every outing special. Plus, I have my own animal-friendly transportation options for those adventures that require a little extra travel. Your pets will be treated like family, and I can’t wait to explore Longmont with them!

While I primarily offer walking, drop-in, and overnight services, I’m open to hosting well-behaved and trained pets on a case-by-case basis. My modern, comfortable apartment features a lovely patio where dogs love to lounge in the sun, all while enjoying a view of downtown Longmont and Roosevelt Park. I take home care seriously and have a wealth of experience watching clients' homes, having stayed in numerous Airbnbs during my travels—always receiving top ratings for my respect and care. You can trust that your pets and your home will be in great hands with me!
A typical day
Living right across from one of Longmont’s most beautiful parks makes it a breeze to take your furry friends for walks or even a skate! With plenty of grassy fields and scenic sidewalks, it’s the perfect spot for exploration. I also know several fantastic dog parks around town where I love to meet up with friends and their friendly pups. For high-energy dogs, I have a few special routes that can tire them out in an hour or less, including hidden gems with ponds for swimming and private, fenced-in areas for uninterrupted play. Your dogs will come home happy and ready for a well-deserved nap! Plus, I have a modern and spacious cargo van, ensuring safe transport for your dogs in securely fastened kennels. Your pets’ comfort and safety are my top priorities!
