I live at an apartment complex that backs up to a large park that is great for walks and sniffs. Dogs can roam freely around our apartment, and we also have a dog park onsite for playtime and potty breaks.

I don't have any breed preferences, but I always like to know how your dog behaves around other dogs and whether he or she has any allergies.
A typical day
I love walks down by the beach, through the park behind my neighborhood, or through other parks and trails near where we live. We also have a bin full of fun toys to play with alongside your pup.

Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and my family has always had them. I raised my own dog from the time she was an 8-week old little fluff. I've been through countless obedience and agility classes with my own dogs and love bonding with all animals. I love taking my dog to the park and love hanging out with other dogs. I fully believe in the therapeutic power of our furry friends and genuinely enjoy spending time around dogs after a long day at work. I am a naturally kind and compassionate person and that's how my girlfriend and I will treat your dog should you entrust him/her into our care. Whether it's a quick walk, multiple walks, or the comfort of your animal's own home, I would love to spend some time getting to know your pup and helping out. We have a 2 year old golden retriever, so your pet can be dropped off here if it is friendly and gets along well with another dog. I am also more than happy to come to your home where your dog is comfortable for walks, drop-in visits, and/or overnight stays.

Matthew did a great job with drop-in visits for my cat. He was very reliable, sent wonderful photo updates every day, and made sure my cat felt happy and safe while I was away. I would gladly book him again!
Matthew responds quickly and is super flexible. When I got home my neighbor told me how great he was with my puppy. She said she could tell he really liked taking care of my dog son. Definitely rebooking!
Matthew seemed enthusiastic and very caring. I appreciated this and his great communication while we were away.
Matthew is everything you could want in a pet sitter - reliable, punctual, organized, and - most importantly - knowledgeable and loving with animals! He took care of our senior 70-lb dog, rambunctious young 80-lb dog and our cat (who won't give his weight ;-) for several days, including walks for the dogs, feeding and medication. Matt sent us pictures and updates regularly and we found happy pets and the house in perfect order upon our return! An absolute pleasure and we will be happy repeat clients :)
