I can provide all-day and overnight supervision. I recently stepped away from full-time work and chose to focus part-time on pet sitting through Rover—not for the money, but because my wife and I genuinely love dogs and cats. We've always dreamed of creating a space where pets can feel safe, happy, and social. We love seeing our own dogs light up when new furry friends come to visit, and we treat every guest like part of the family. With a flexible schedule and a deep passion for animals, pet sitting fits beautifully into my daily life.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large shaded back yard for dogs to explore. I also have direct access to the Saucon Rail Trail for walks. My house is spacious, providing plenty of room for dogs to find a quiet place to relax. There are no children in the home and no neighboring dogs, so your pet can feel secure. I have crates available if needed for parts of the stay.

Information Matthew B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if there are special needs to be aware of for your pet(s). When starting with a new pet, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. Please inform whether your dog is up to date on vaccines.
A typical day
I enjoy taking my dogs hiking and to the dog park 5 minutes from my house. In the summer I take them swimming in the creek that is a short walk from my house. I also keep them busy with puzzle toys and a toy box full of a variety of toys. My Doberman runs on a dog treadmill for between .5-1 mile daily depending on the weather conditions and she still believes she is a lap dog at +/- 70 lbs. My corgi is an avid fetch player and keeps me busy throwing his ball as much as doggily possible.

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets since the age of 5. My expertise is with dogs (owned many german shepherds, pit bulls, a doberman, corgi, sheltie and lab mix breeds). Growing up I helped care for 4 dogs at a time. I also have experience with owning cats, chickens, bearded dragons and fish. My eldest dog, a blue nose pit bull, crossed the rainbow bridge recently at 16.5 years of age. I currently own two friendly, well socialized dogs. My wife grew up on a farm and has experience with animals of all sizes: a retired show pony, turkeys, chickens, cats, dogs, cows, goats and pigs. She has worked as a healthcare provider for more than 20 years and is able to handle any necessary pet medication needs.
Reviews

Loki had a great time and was well taken care of. He had such a good time he whined a little as we were driving away. We got videos and pictures as well as updates regularly while we were gone, which let us know Loki was doing well and enjoying his stay and also kept our minds at ease that he was happy and doing well. Thank you both for all you did keeping our little fur baby safe and happy!

Matthew was a great sitter, he sent a lot of videos and pictures while we were away. Would recommend him to all looking for a quality sitter . Thanks for your service !

Matthew took great care of our girl overnight. I loved the frequent pictures, videos & updates - it put my mind at ease. Great with dogs. Thank you again! 🐾

We can't thank Matthew & his wife enough for the incredible care they provided for Remy. They truly took him in as one of their own and showered him with love, attention, and adventure. From fun activities to regular updates with pictures and videos, we felt like we were right there with them. Their communication and transparency put our minds at ease. We're so grateful for their dedication and kindness, and we can't wait to work with them again in the future. If you're looking for trustworthy, caring, and fun pet sitters, look no further! 5 stars isn't enough ,we'd give them 10 stars if we could! 🐾
