We are a family of animal lovers! Matt and Brooke have three children: May, Luca, and one Mr. Bo Jangles - our 70lb rescue mutt. Matt works from home, and Bo is a fun loving, gentle, and patient goof who gets along with everyone he's ever met (two-legged and four-legged). When Bo first joined our family, we gave him the greatest gift of all: a fenced in yard. Bo Jangles would love to share his home, his yard and his walks with new friends.

Matthew was a great sitter! Bailey was well taken care of and seemed to have a good time. She had lots of space to roam and had their dog to play with. Matthew kept us informed and sent us pictures and videos. We would definitely have Bailey stay with Matthew again.
We boarded our two Bernese Mountain dogs and one mixed breed with them for four nights. I can’t say enough nice things about Matt and Brooke! They were great! They kept us up-to-date on the dogs by sending photos and if they had any questions, they reached out to us. I would HIGHLY recommend them and plan on using them again in the future
Matthew and his wonderful family took our pup in like she was one of their own. Photos, videos and daily updates set our mind at ease while we were away. They took such great care of her, I recommend them so highly!
Matt and his family were absolutely amazing watching my big guy Jake for the week. Cannot recommend them enough, they truly treated him like family and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Thank you!
Matthew and his family were the best caretakers we could hope for, for our little girl. We tend to be a little overprotective of our pups since they cannot call us on the phone if something goes wrong, so this is the first time we've ever had a non-family member care for our fur baby, for more than a few hours. Matthew's beautiful, loving, gentle family are clearly dog lovers (all animal lovers, I think) who treated Artemis like family. It was important to us that Artemis have good company. She's incredibly sociable and loves to play with other dogs and children so we loved that Bo Jangles and his human siblings were in the house. Bo Jangles was such a gentleman, a great host, good at sharing his people, his space, his bed. We are very grateful for the good care and would HIGHLY recommend Matthew and his family to all good guests!!

Schedule
Matt is self employed, and working from home affords total flexibility and customizable routines, based on individual pet's needs. Walks and playtime are already part of our family's daily life, and the more the merrier.

Safety, trust & environment
We offer care for both cats and dogs. Matt rescued a handsome young feral cat, Bootsie, nearly twenty years ago, but sadly, Bootsie passed away in the winter of 2023. With years of doting love, Boots turned from fierce and ornery into a pretty mellow family pet. Boots even surprised us all by accepting Mr. Bo Jangles into the family fold, and occasionally even snuggling with him! Whether you have a cat or a dog, Mr. Bo Jangles will treat your pet with respect, just as Bootsie learned. A few other perks: In addition to a fenced yard, our home is ideally located for commuters, right behind West Conn's Westside Campus. Our neighborhood is in a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic, ideal for leisurely walks full of sniffing and exploring. If for any reason your pet does not enjoy Mr. Bo Jangles' overtures of friendship, we have an excellent set up to keep them separate, including separate exits to the fenced in yard. Our whole house is completely pet friendly, with no spaces that are off limits to pets. Additionally, we are a smoke free home. Both May and Luca love animals and would love to give extra pets and snuggles if your pet enjoys children, but they will also respect their independence and wishes.

We can offer leisurely and/or brisk walks, play time in the yard (with humans, with Mr. Bo Jangle's, or both), and plenty of opportunities for leisurely, peaceful rest.
