I have experience caring for and walking dogs through both pet sitting and volunteer work. In the past, I regularly cared for my aunt and uncle's dog while they were away, which included walks, feeding and companionship. I also volunteered at a dog rescue where I walked dogs, cleaned kennels, and helped ensure the animals were comfortable and well cared for. While those experiences were some time ago, my love of dogs has remained constant. Having grown up with dogs and spending time with friends' dogs over the years, I am comfortable around a variety of personalities and enjoy helping dogs stay happy, active, and engaged.

I tailor my care to each pet's needs and routine. For cats, I typically provide drop-in visits morning and evening, spending time feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them attention and companionship. For dogs, I prefer staying in the client's home so they can remain comfortable in their familiar environment. This allows me to provide consistent care, companionship, walks, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. My goal is to keep pets happy, safe, and stress-free while their owners are away.

Matt has been a wonderful cat sitter to my two kittens (and now adult cats) this past year. I can tell that he genuinely enjoys spending quality time playing with them, and he also sends me updates on them regularly, about everything from how they're eating to what they've been getting up to while I'm gone. The daily pictures he sends of them and just knowing that he's there with them has been such a comfort when I'm away!

I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive and dependable pet care. My days are spent managing my home, pursuing professional development and training opportunities, and staying active in my community. This flexibility enables me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and extended pet sitting.

- Before caring for a pet, I'd like to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any special instructions. For visits and walks, I'd appreciate knowing where food, treats, toys, leashes, waste bags, litter supplies, and other pet essentials are located. The more information you can provide about your pet's personality and needs, the better I can make them feel comfortable while you're away.
