Words cannot accurately express how thankful we are that Matt Burnett at Allegiant Canine crossed our path! Our GSD was very reactive and did not coexist with other pups in the world! Walks were impossible due to her “aggressive” tendencies towards other dogs! Matt did an intensive 2week board and train and gave us an amazing member of the family that we can’t imagine doing life without! The tools we were using were not correct to her needs, so Matt trained us on the proper ones! We know he’s just a phone call away should we have any questions along the way. Our girl LOVES Matt as much as we do which just proves his heart for his gifts! 10/10 highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!

Matt was my dog trainer, and I can’t recommend him enough! He was incredibly gentle, patient, and knowledgeable with my sweet Joon, who WAS a reactive Doberman. He took the time to understand her needs, made her feel comfortable, and handled her with so much care and confidence. I can’t recommend Matt enough! He is incredibly knowledgeable about different dog breeds and their individual needs, but what really stands out is how much he genuinely cares about every dog he works with. Matt took the time to understand not only our Rottweiler, Ziva, but our whole family. My 9-year-old especially loved getting direction from Matt on how he could help with Ziva’s training and daily care, which made the experience even more meaningful for us. Ziva took to Matt immediately, and we saw huge progress with every session. His patience, knowledge, and ability to connect with both dogs and people are truly impressive. Matt has cared for all three of my dogs and they always look forward to Uncle Mattie paying a visit. He treats our dogs like his own and provides wonderful care for them by taking time to play and engage with them.
