Howdy! Caring for animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something I absolutely love! Throughout my life, I've always had dogs and later worked full-time at a doggie daycare, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. During that time, I completed training classes and emergency pet care courses, giving me the knowledge to respond confidently in both everyday situations and unexpected ones. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors who may need extra patience, medication management, mobility support, or a slower pace. If you’re interested, I can also provide one-on-one training sessions during your pup’s stay to reinforce good manners, basic commands, or specific goals you may have. When your pet is with me, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise routines, and any special care requests you provide. I pay close attention to behavior and body language to ensure they’re feeling secure and well cared for at all times. I have a friendly, playful dog who loves making new friends, and two cats who have their own dedicated space to ensure everyone feels comfortable and stress-free. My home is structured, supervised, and pet-focused. Your pet will be treated as part of the family, with plenty of love, attention, and personalized care throughout their stay. This was our second time having Matthew take care of my dog, and once again, he was absolutely wonderful! This time was a little more special because he also cared for my friend’s dogs, who are my dog’s littermates. It made me so happy knowing that all three of them were together, well cared for, and having a great time. Matthew kept us updated throughout their stay with lots of pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. He is incredibly attentive, communicative, and always willing to help. You can truly tell that he cares about the dogs he looks after. We’re so happy we found Matthew and would absolutely trust him with our dogs again. Schedule
I work full-time during the week as an analyst. However, I am hybrid and will be available to care for your pet! I have a pup of my own so I know how to work with their needs.

A typical day
While I am watching your pet, I provide daily updates, enrichment time and play time in the yard. If your pup is comfortable with the dog park, let me know. I take my pup every other day!
