Vet Tech Specializing in Cat Care
Hi! My name is Matt, and for twenty-nine years I have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs. Since I was a young child, cats have always been and continue to be my best friends. I occasionally take care of my mom's three cats (Stripey, Minky, and Mittens). I have prior experience caring for previously diabetic cats who required daily insulin shots and allergy medication injections, older-aged cats who needed regular oral and topical medications, and a small dog. I currently have experience as a veterinary assistant and general practice department lead at a veterinary hospital, administering subcutaneous fluids to cats & dogs, cleaning ears, performing pedicures, expressing anal glands, giving subcutaneous and intravenous injections (vaccines and other drugs), obtaining sterile urine samples, and obtaining blood samples. I am also Recover CPR-certified and fear-free certified for cats and dogs. Cats are by far my favorite animals, and I enjoy meeting new ones whenever I have the opportunity. I would be glad to meet whatever animal you may have and treat your pet with respect and care as if they are my own. I am currently working full-time and attending school to become a registered veterinary technician, so my schedule is not very flexible at the moment. I have night classes Monday-Thursday, so I am most available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in the afternoon or evening. If I do not immediately respond to your request on days when I'm working/attending class, I will try my best to get back to you during my breaks and off time. ***I CURRENTLY ONLY CARE FOR CATS AT THIS TIME***

Matt helped take care of my cat for close to 3 weeks while I was away and she absolutely adored him. He was experienced, communicative, on time for all visits and went above and beyond to find replacement when we ran out of supply. Would recommend his service!!

Matt was great. He came by for a meet and greet, understood our needs as pet owners of a super senior kitty with some medical issues, was prompt in his arrival times and sent updates in real time, and was able to provide fluids to our kitty so we could go away for a few days knowing our she would be okay. We will definitely reach out to Matt in the future!

Programa
I currently work full-time and take night classes for school. My schedule is not very flexible on the days I work, and I am only free to do a certain number of drop-in visits on my off days.
