My wife and I both work majority remote and have time to take the dogs out throughout the day every 4-8 hours. If for any reason we are both out, we have a Furbo camera that we can watch the dogs on in our living room if we’re ever gone and to check on them and send them treats.

We have a huge fenced backyard that your dog will absolutely love! So much space to run around and play or to sunbathe, as Quincy likes to do. We have a lovely table outside that Tara works at periodically if weather permits.

All we ask is that you bring: - daily food - Meds / supplements - Special treats (we have milkbones, nutrish treats, etc…) - Bowls (we have a communal water bowl, a small bowl and a slow feeder) - Dog bed and blanket (sometimes they are comforted by a little smell of home) - Leash / Harness

Our dogs are very routined and most dogs follow the same routine when they are here. We wake up between 6am-7am, short walk, breakfast. They relax and sleep for a few hours. Weather permitting we let them out back between 11-12. Then they go on a longer walk around 1-2pm. More relaxing and sleeping, sometimes people watching. At 5pm they go on another long walk, then dinner time! At 6pm they get their nightly “dessert”, it’s really just a Nutrish Soup Bone. After that, they just relax with us and get lots of love until bed time around 10-11pm. The life of a dog! If your dog has any other needs, we are more than happy to accommodate that!

Hi! I’m Matt. My wife, Tara, and I are dog lovers through and through. We have two beautiful dogs, who are spoiled rotten. We got Monroe, an American Foxhound/Australian Shepherd mix, when she was just 8 weeks old. Going through the pandemic we decided that she needed a friend when we were working and couldn’t give her all of the attention, so we got Quincy! We adopted her when she was a year old after she had given birth to 13, YES, 13 puppies! Quincy is a Black Lab/German Shepherd mix and is our Mama Bear. Due to Quincy’s “Mama Bear” tendencies, we require a meet and greet to ensure that she’s okay with every dog that comes into our house, 99% of the time, they are great and she just wants to check it out. We started our Rover journey back in June of 2023 after watching a couple of family friends dogs. My wife has the mentality that dogs are better than most people. Since we can’t adopt every dog we see, dog sitting is absolutely the way to go! That being said, every dog we watch is treated like the Prince/Princess that they are and will get all of the cuddles and belly rubs they allow. We will send you lots of photos and updates! We are basically a dog’s playhouse! They’re allowed on the couches, beds, etc… We have more toys and treats than could possibly be required! The neighborhood has kids, but there’s not usually kids in our house. They’ll surely want to come back to play when they leave! We know that sometimes a dog is more comfortable in their own space! We happily do house sitting as well. We can adjust our schedule to your dog’s schedule. We also will take in your mail, water plants, feed fish, whatever you need while you’re gone! Our only ask is that you’re okay with us using your WiFi, as we do work from home. Your dog will be loved and spoiled all from the comfort of their house!

What a gift to find someone who loves dogs as much as I do! Our pup, Flo, took to Tara instantly. The two of them hung out like old friends, watching the Phillies game together while Mom and Dad finally got a worry-free night out. It was a great relief knowing Flo was happy, relaxed, and in great hands. Tara has that special intuition with animals that you just can’t teach. We can’t wait to have her back! 🐾

It was clear from the initial meet and greet that Matt was 100% committed to ensuring my dog, who is shy and anxious around new people, would feel comfortable with him when he stayed with her. He impressed me with his knowledge of dog behavior as well as his professionalism. When one of my dogs suddenly passed away two days before his stay Matt took everything in stride and went out of his way to not only ensure my remaining dog was ok but also provided regular updates and pictures to reassure me that she was fine. Following Matt’s stay it was clear that he had a clear attention to detail as the house was exactly how we left it- he even took the trash out for us and left a few lights on when he heard we would be back in the evening. Thank you Matt for everything you did for Luna during your stay!
Matt & Tara W. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
