I work in Bristol as a Project Manager for the NGO STAND, with flexible working arrangements that allow me to work remotely when needed, meaning I can give your pets as much time as they need. My partner, Elvira, works at the University of Bath as a portfolio manager in the IT department, and we both enjoy spending our time with animals.

Information Matt T. would like to know about your pet

When we look after your dog, it would be great if you could let us know the following: • Any medical conditions or allergies they have to ensure their health and well-being. • What type of food they’re used to, portion size, and feeding schedule to maintain their diet. • Their preferred level of exercise and any specific routines they enjoy to keep them active. • Any specific triggers or fears, along with successful training or behaviour modification techniques, to ensure their comfort. • Their favourite toys or play routines to keep them entertained. • Where they like to sleep and any bedding or comfort needs for a good night’s rest. • How they interact with other dogs and people, and their socialisation preferences to ensure positive experiences. This information will help us provide the best care for your furry friend and make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

Pet care experience

We’ve both grown up in households full of pets, from cats and guinea pigs to bearded dragons, but at our core, we’re true dog lovers. Throughout our lives, we’ve been surrounded by different breeds, from Scotties and collies to larger breeds. In our family home now, we share our space with our beloved Weimaraner (Blue), Golden Retriever (Gozo), and a German Shepherd (Saxon). About 50% of the time, our Show Cocker Spaniel, Dash, also joins us, completing our pack. As a couple, we’re very comfortable with big dogs and have a knack for getting them to love us. We’re happy to take them for long walks, feed them, and play with them—it’s as much fun for us as it is for them!

Albert loved Matt and was very happy with him staying. He looked after Albert and my home really well. Communication was great, would definitely recommend and rebook!

Matt house sat for our 1yr old Beagle whilst we were away. He was very punctual and polite and made sure our boy was well looked after. To hear that our boy wasn't crying when we left, due to his separation anxiety, means that he loved Matt too. Would recommend and will use again.

Matt has looked after my chocolate lab Coco on numerous occasions when I have been away for work. Every time Coco has come back with a spring in her step and clearly loves spending time with Matt! She is getting rather elderly now so mainly benefits from shorter walks to the park. As Matt owns two lovely dogs already, I can always rely on him when needed!
