Pet care experience
Avid & Experienced Pet Sitter!
My name is Matthew and I am an avid pet and house sitter in the Olean area! I love all animals and would be happy to give expert care to your pet! My rates are affordable and rest assured your pet will get all of the love that you give them at home. I have the energy and commitment to give frequent walks and potty breaks. I have been caring for pets since a young age, and I even volunteer very often at the local SPCA so that I can up my experience. I am 24 years old and I love all animals so you can book me knowing your pet will be cared for, fully tired out from walks, and happy for sure. We have three dogs in our house and they love other dogs. Two are Blue Heelers and the third is a trained therapy dog, who is a mini golden doodle. I am working full time on. a flexible schedule. My dogs go to daycare on Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to get home between 1-2 hours all day and provide potty breaks and a lot of attention and exercise (we are used to this with our two boys who need at least 5 miles of running or equal activity a day). I have a fenced in yard, as many toys as possible, treats, snacks, and all the love to provide. Your pets will feel like they are in their home away from home. :)

Ratings and reviews
Matt was absolutely perfect for our grumpy rescue dog! I can't say thank you enough. Matt was thorough in learning everyone's routines and making sure he knew everything needed to take great care of our animals while we were away. He went the extra step to make sure that we felt confident all would be well while we were gone. He made it a vacation for the dog, too! Matt took great care of the pets and the house and we wouldn't hesitate to ask him to watch for us again.

Matt did a wonderful job looking after our fur kids while we were away. Sent us photos and updates that really put our minds at ease. Our dog Burger and cats sushi and Dillard can't thank Matt enough for all the care, love and treats! Will definitely use Matt again in the future.

A typical day
7 am– 7:30 am Wake up and go for a brisk walk with the opportunity to urinate and defecate. About 20-30 minutes for a little playtime. Fetch or something interactive is a welcome game. Spend about 10 minutes of quality time just talking and petting your dog. I will take time to anything unusual about their demeanor, attitude, hair coat, look of their eyes etc. 7:30 am – 8:00 am Time to eat; change the water to make sure the bowl is full and fresh. Offer food if you feed your dog more than once a day. 8:00 am– 9:00 am Dogs like to have the opportunity to go out again after they eat for the opportunity to urinate and defecate. 9 am – 12 pm Nap time!? Or time to follow me around as I do my housework. If I am off to work – then naptime it will be. 12 pm – 1 pm Ideally, most dogs would enjoy some interaction again with the opportunity to go out, exercise or play. 1 pm – 5 –pm Nap time again? Or another opportunity to observe me working! 5 pm – 7:30 pm Drinks, dinner, and playtime. Again, change the water and offer dinner. Monitor your dogs’ appetite. I will offer a longer and more extensive playtime than this morning. Let them really play and burn off some of that pent-up energy. 7:30 pm – 11 pm Quiet family time. This may be a good opportunity to brush and groom your dog, brush their teeth and spend some quality time, or even jump on the couch and watch some TV. Before bedtime Most dogs appreciate another opportunity to go out and do their “business” on last time. Bedtime!
