My husband and I had the absolute best experience with Matt watching our dog, Captain, for an entire week! We were understandably nervous about leaving Captain with someone we hadn’t met before, but those nerves quickly disappeared after receiving Matt’s first update. From that point on, Matt sent us daily photos and thoughtful updates about Captain’s day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Matt truly went above and beyond to make sure Captain was comfortable and well cared for. When I accidentally drove 30 minutes to drop Captain off only to realize I had forgotten his dog bed at home, Matt graciously provided one for him. He even took the time to clean the dog bowls we had brought along! It’s the little things like these that show just how thoughtful and attentive Matt is. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for Captain, and we are so grateful for the love and attention Matt gave him. I cannot recommend Matt highly enough to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter. We would absolutely book with him again!
Matt was absolutely amazing! I would recommend him to anyone; and I am looking forward to having Ryder stay again in the future. My Ryder has separation anxiety and needs someone with him all the time. Matt was able to provide that, never leaving him alone for the weekend. He sent so many cute picture of Ryder, where we could see how happy and comfortable he felt. Matt took Ryder to explore for a walk. And his dog Memphis is super sweet and Ryder and I hit it off right away:)
Matt took such good of my 4 legged baby while I was on vacation! He’s so calm and gentle and sent updates twice a day. I appreciated the updates and the pictures of my baby very much! I will definitely use Matt’s boarding service in the future!

Schedule
I work from home and am available seven days a week, year-round. Your dog will have 100% of my attention during their stay, and I look forward to meeting them.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small, modest home in a rural Michigan community. It's just minutes from scenic woodlands and the Heartland Trail, where I can offer walks in addition to quality time at home. I don't have children, and your dog will feel safe and content in my house and yard.
Pets
A typical day
I live alone with my dog, Memphis, and your pup will have all my attention during their stay. 100% of the time! There are a dozen Kong®, GoDog®, and Nylabone® toys for him or her to play with safely, along with my dog, who is gentle and friendly. I don't have a fenced yard, but your pup will NEVER leave my home without a leash and all my attention. My house is well protected against fleas & ticks, and my dog Memphis uses Simparica Trio®. She is also up to date with all her shots, vaccines, and boosters, including rabies, and is licensed here in Montcalm County. I have 2 large crates with pads that can be used if requested, but I will spend ALL my time with your pup and won't leave them unattended in my house.
