Matthew was best friends with my dog! He made it so easy when I was away -- always there when I had questions, and always so responsible. I feel safe leaving my dog with him. Mochi misses you : )

To whom it may concern, I am delighted to recommend Matthew Richards for a pet sitter/dog walker with Rover. He is a close family friend and I have known him for over twenty years. Matthew is a kind spirited, compassionate, thoughtful, and trustworthy person. Through the years, I have employed Matthew’s services as house/pet sitter and dog walker; as well as various other laborious capacities. He has proved to be conscientious, responsible, and industrious. On many occasions, Matthew exhibited quick thinking on his feet and a cool head in a stressful situation. My mind is always at ease when we travel knowing my pets are in Matthew’s capable and loving hands, knowing he takes his responsibilities seriously and can be relied upon to perform his duties to the best of his ability. In addition, Matthew is a true lover of dogs and has bonded with all mine throughout the years; exhibiting patience, respect, love, and leadership. Sadly, last year he lost his beloved 13-year-old Weimaraner, Bailey. Those of us who had the honor to witness Matthew’s devotion to Bailey through the years were devastated for his loss. Matthew will be a trusted treasure to the dogs in his care, their owners, and his employers.
