Pet care experience
South Philly Dog Dad at Heart
I’ve lived with pets my entire life and absolutely love caring for dogs. I’m a dog dad at heart and recently said goodbye to my 14-year-old Yorkie after a long battle with cancer. After so many years of having a dog by my side, I’d love the opportunity to share that same care and attention with your pup! Over the past several years, I’ve gained experience both boarding dogs in my home and caring for pets in their own homes for friends and family. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your dog and will make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and right at home while you’re away. I live in South Philly and love getting outside for walks around the neighborhood, exploring local parks, or simply spending time at home with a four-legged companion. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather curl up on the couch, I’m happy to follow their routine and make their stay feel like home. I’d love to spend time with your pup soon!

Ratings and reviews
Matt and Tyson were great with our senior chihuahua Toto. He sent lots of photos and responded quickly when I wanted to check in. I would definitely trust Matt to watch Toto again.
Matt was great with our dog! Our dog can be a bit nervous and shy, but he seemed instantly comfortable. Matt was very communicative and sent great updates. Highly recommend!
Matt was great with my Maggie! He was super professional, sent me daily updates with photos and was quick to respond when I checked in.
Matt was wonderful! He was so friendly and kind. Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. He took amazing care of my pup, Noodle. She was very sad to leave him and come home!
Matt is fantastic. I know Lola has a great time hanging out with him and his pup. We left her for 10 days while on vacation and everything went well. He also sent some really great pics of the dogs! We will definitely book with him again and would recommend him to anyone!
Matt and his dog companion Tyson made a perfect home for our little dog. Pictures showing caring and fun. I highly recommend.

I am generally available weekends, and try to be as flexible as possible on drop off and pickup times. I work from home Mondays and Fridays with flexibility through the week, so your dog is sure to get lots of love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
At home in my apartment, pups are allowed on the bed and couch, but I also have a dog bed and crate available if you prefer them to sleep in their own bed at night.

I’m located in the Passyunk area of South Philly, so there are several parks and neighborhood streets to spend time outside on long walks. I also have plenty of dog toys to keep them entertained while at home!
