I also like to know about their temperament, favorite activities, and any triggers or behaviors to watch for, such as fear of loud noises, reactivity to other animals, or dietary restrictions. The more I know up front, the more comfortable and stress-free I can make the experience for both the pet and their owner.
A typical day
I like to keep pets engaged, happy, and active by tailoring activities to their personalities and energy levels. For dogs, this can include walks, playtime in the yard, fetch, tug-of-war, or exploring new scents on a safe route. For pets that enjoy a calmer pace, I spend time giving gentle attention, brushing, or providing interactive toys and puzzles to keep their minds stimulated. My goal is always to make sure pets feel loved, entertained, and comfortable while in my care.
