Pet care experience
Loving Pet Sitter, Works from Home.
I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I am an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your pup. I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with dogs. Some people have told me I’m a dog whisperer at times… I have yet to prove them wrong.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I will love on your pooch with everything I have. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but due to frequent traveling, it’s sadly not the right time for me. I love having the opportunity through Rover. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy!
Ratings and reviews
I recently adopted a rescue dog who was fearful and timid to leave the home or meet people and dogs. I was hesitant to leave her with a house/dog sitter for a week but needed to visit my 82 year old mother in Texas. Matt did incredible work with our dog. Before we left, she would not walk more than ten minutes because of fear and anxiety. By the end of Matt's time with her, she was comfortably walking a mile or two with him. He gave us advice on how to work with her that we use every day. He sent many videos and pictures and really made me feel happy and comfortable while away, knowing she was receiving such caring and expert care.

Very responsive, took excellent care of our cat Luna!
Thank you for taking great care of Chloe for us. It was a unique situation where we were from out of town attending a family gathering so needed someone to stay with our dog at a hotel. Matt was flexible to do this for us, kept us informed with photos. I would highly recommend Matt!!

We are happy with Matt’s overall professionalism in taking care of our dog, Gina. He was very accommodating and kept her safe and entertained. There were some unforeseen circumstances that Matt handled well. He communicated with us regularly and sent some nice photos. We felt comfortable having Matt take care of our dog and home while we were away for a week.

Matt was a fantastic sitter for our high energy dog. Matt was very communicative during the booking process and while sitting. He took our dog on some big walks and hikes, which Ziggy loves and left our house clean. I would definitely recommend Matt and hope to have him sit for us again.

Matt was absolutely wonderful. Our lab loved being with him, and Matt was so conscientious in taking care of our house. He sent us pictures or videos everyday of our dog, a great reassurance. And he went up and beyond our expectations: we were delayed by 24 hours getting home because of weather conditions, and he agreed to stay with our dog until we returned. We would definitely ask Matt to house/dog sit again in the future, with no hesitation. Thank you, Matt!
