I'm so excited to work with you!
Hello! My name is Matt and I've been caring for pets as long as I can remember. I've been a go to for neighborhood pet sitting (for dogs, cats, and birds) since I was around nine years old and have had plenty of experience. In fact, my family has 2 dogs of our own: a schnauzer mix and a chocolate lab! I also have a lot of experience working with high risk breeds such as boston terriers and french bulldogs as well as dogs with special needs such as epilepsy, diabetes, anxiety, and blindness. I would love to have the opportunity to help out in any way while you are away! I don’t have dogs at home at the moment, but I am living in an apartment with two cats, so keeping overnight isn't quite an option for me. I know It can be hard to trust many boarding places and doggie daycares so I completely understand the need for quality, affordable help for your dogs! Thank you so much for considering me!

Within my own home, I cared for my dogs with lots of love and time to play! They are well disciplined and grown now, staying with my family, but we did our best to never leave them alone longer than 4-6 hours. I do the same with my client’s pets. I will abide by house rules and make sure that everyone stays happy and healthy.

Matt has been a wonderful sitter for my young cat twice now for several weeks, and has been very helpful in taking on requests even on short notice. Matt is very friendly, easy to coordinate with, and someone I can definitely recommend!

Matt was incredibly thoughtful and thorough with his notes and pictures each day! This is my first time using rover or a sitter of any kind and I was very impressed! Matt even reported on my cat's behavior each day, so I knew how well he was adjusting to something new! Really gave me some peace of mind!

Schedule
I am currently taking a gap year post-graduation from Chapman University before applying to Master’s programs. I work part-time as a barista a few times a week but most of my work is remote so I’m pretty available! My hours tend not to exceed 5 at a time which gives me plenty of time to spend with your pets.
