I work for myself and from home. My dog comes with me everywhere I go and I try not to leave any dog alone for more than 3 hours.

Information Matt C. would like to know about your pet
I certainly want to know what your dogs usual routine is and try to stick to that as close as possible. I think dogs are happiest if they keep with what they usually do day to day. It may be stressful to be in a different home or with a new dog, so keeping as much as possible the same is important
A typical day
The routine I follow with my dog is a 15-20 min walk in the morning and then hang at the house. then mid afternoon we go to the dog park for 30+ min and spend the rest of the day at home together. If needed we will do another 15-20 min walk at night or some time playing out in the yard.

Dogs just love me.
Pet care experience
If there’s a dog within reach, I’m already on my way to pet it. Honestly, dogs just get me—and usually decide I’m their new best friend within about five seconds. Around here, pups get the royal treatment: daily 30+ minute park trips, five different dog beds to choose from (because options matter), and ear scritches on the couch whenever they’re requested. If I leave the house for more than two hours, I even put on a movie I think the pack will enjoy—yes, I take requests. I also like to keep things balanced with a few gentle rules so everyone feels safe—and I love sneaking in a new trick or two to show off when they head back home. Fun fact: I once threw a birthday party for my dog that spiraled into something much bigger. It ended up becoming the biggest third-party fundraiser for PAWS in Washington, raising over $25,000 to help other pets find their forever homes. Definitely one of my proudest “dog dad” moments. So, whether your pup wants a daily adventure, a cozy nap spot rotation, or someone who knows the perfect behind-the-ear scratch—I’ve got them covered.
Reviews

Matt is fantastic! Our dog always has company to play with, tons of human love, and Matt never fails to send photos and video so we don’t miss our dog too much while we’re away. Matt will be our go to whenever we have to go away.

Gosh, where to even begin. Matt’s been watching Harvey for almost a year now whenever I have to jet out of town. He’s the only one outside of a select group of friends that I trust with my dog. Makes sure to keep him active and on his routine, but best of all, I just never worry when Harvey is with him. At this point it’s like I’m dropping him off with a family member—truly how much I trust Matt.

Matt took great care of my senior dog Barley, who enjoyed the perfect balance of exercise, socialization, fun, and down time. Matt communicated clearly and often, and I didn’t have to worry for a second about being away from Barley all weekend. Barley is looking forward to his next staycation soon!

Matt is great with our dogs Rosie and Isabella. Matt sends daily pictures and frequent videos and we can see our dogs enjoy being a part of the pack with Larry, Matt's dog. We will certainly hire Matt again to watch our dogs - it's a relief to have found a place for them that's a good fit for all involved.
