Ratings and reviews
We felt so comfortable leaving Roo with Matt and Angel, and we loved the daily updates and photos we received while away. It seems our girl received a lot of love during her time there!

Matt and Angel are SO amazing! Bella feels so comfortable immediately when she gets there. They understand her individually, what she likes and make her very happy. She also enjoys the company of Sophie and Semaj. We are so lucky to have such great care for Bella when we are away.

Matt and Angel are top notch dog sitters! They always do a phenomenal job taking care of our babies, and give us fun daily updates! Would paws down recommend them to anyone in the area looking for reliable and great pet sitters.

Loved being updated about Dama and Miles days, pictures, tracking and adventures! As someone that suffers leaving their dogs for days, this kind of communication helped a lot! Dama and Miles are happy and had a great time❤️

Matt and Angel are wonderful sitters. I get lots of updates videos and pictures along with the best stories of Maggie’s day. Wouldn’t think of using anyone else

Schedule
We both work full-time gigs—one of us is out the door by 7, the other by 8, and we’re back by late afternoon (like responsible adults… or so we pretend). Our shifts are 7–3:30 and 8–4:30, but fear not—we can swing by during lunch breaks for potty missions, snack delivery, or med time if your pup needs it. Outside of work hours, it’s all paws on deck! Mornings, evenings, and weekends are dedicated to pack time—zoomies in the yard, fetch marathons, and the occasional field trip to the dog park for some tail-wagging socializing. Basically, we clock in for work, but we live for the dog time.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Safety is our top priority—right after belly rubs and treat distribution, of course. We treat your pup like one of our own (and ours are pretty spoiled). The backyard is under constant zoomie surveillance thanks to a Nest cam—perfect for monitoring playtime and collecting blackmail footage for future birthday montages. We’ve also got a Furbo cam keeping tabs inside, complete with treat-launching powers and the ability to say, “Hey, quit licking the couch!” when we’re away. At night, motion sensor lights turn the yard into a well-lit stage for those dramatic late-night potty performances. The backyard is fully fenced in with a 6-foot barrier—no escape artists allowed—and our XL doggy door means they can come and go during the day like royalty. For extra peace of mind, every pup—including yours—gets their own Tractive GPS tracker, just in case someone gets a wild hair. We only book one client at a time, so your dog gets our undivided attention and VIP treatment. No kennels here—our crew roams free! But if your pup prefers a cozy crate, we’ve got options or you’re welcome to bring their favorite snooze-mobile from home. We operate with private pet-sitting insurance, emergency vet authorization, and detailed incident documentation if needed.
Pets
A typical day
We’re early birds—not by choice, but because our pups run a tight ship. Mornings kick off with feedings, meds, walks, and the required allotment of head pats and booty scratches. Our furry bosses are Semaj, an 8-year-old rescued pit mix with a heart of gold (and a bark to match), and Sophie, a gentle 7-year-old rescued golden who thinks she’s royalty—and honestly, she might be. After work, we tag-team playtime, rotating between their impressive BarkBox hoard (they’re surprisingly generous about sharing), backyard zoomies in the fenced yard, and mealtime. As the sun sets, it’s time for our 1–1.5 mile walk—part exercise, part neighborhood patrol. Then comes the grand finale: a nightcap of treats and belly rubs before everyone collapses into a cozy dog pile. Weekends? We keep it chill. A mix of home projects, movie marathons, and strategic laziness. Basically, if your pup joins the crew, they’re signing up for a life of structure, snuggles, and possibly an unhealthy attachment to squeaky toys.
