I work a per diem position which gives me plenty of time to care for your animals and walk your pups. On days I work I have 8 hour shifts and may be out of the house for up to 9 hours with travel to and from. I am happy to let you know what days I work far in advance! Otherwise I am full-time studying for the MCAT through June 2026, allowing me plenty of flexibility to work from anywhere and all the time in the world to give you doggie or kitty the love and attention they deserve, and a mood booster for me as well! Starting June 15th, I will begin a full-time position M-F from 9-5pm so will be totally free weekends to care for your furry friends.

Monday-Friday I walk, play, and feed your dog every 8-9 hours, and 2-4 hours weekends. I am also happy to stay in the house overnight or throughout the day to accommodate your pets needs. I love to walk pups at least 30 minutes, rain, snow, or shine but as long as the pup is warm and comfortable as well. I also love to throw balls, tug of war, or snuggle with pets if they are more playful, and have no fear of jumpy, excitable dogs. While my first priority is keep your animal safe and happy, I try to leave clients spaces better than when I arrived, as I worked as an Airbnb cleaner before Rover.

I like to know the medical conditions and energy-levels if the dogs I walk and care for so I can plan for a schedule that fits their needs. I also like to know their “triggers” or what frightens or stresses them out. As well as how friendly they are to other dogs and animals as well as other people we may encounter on a walk.

I have many wonderful walks and nearby dog parks in my area I love to take dogs to that are friendly with other dogs. Finding a new spot great for playing fetch or tug-of-war is always a joy, and for more high energy dogs I love to take pups on city hikes & long river walks.

In 3 years on Rover I have taken care of over 40 dogs and 10 cats. Walking, boarding, bathing, and playing with small and large, old and young pups & kitties of my own as well those of my 50+ previous & often repeat clients.

Matisse is great. Very thoughtful and takes great care of our dog and house. Also she’s very upfront with any potential issues and willing to be flexible about timing. Would gladly have her take care of our dog again!
Matisse took fantastic care of Ollie and left the house just as clean as when we left! Very appreciative of the care given to Ollie while we were away.
Matisse was wonderful! She was exceptional at accommodating our older dog’s many needs and was great about communication. She was so thoughtful in reaching out to troubleshoot issues with a clear commitment to keeping Joey happy and healthy. She also went above and beyond what we expected while watching Joey and was a great house guest. In addition to washing Joey’s dog bed, she even washed our bed sheets, duvet cover, and pillow cases making sure to put them in the dryer before she left so we could come home without any additional chores! We were blown away! Anyone would be lucky to have her watch their pet!
Another great visit from Matisse! She’s the best and handled Raven’s medication so well!
