Loving, work-from-home dog sitter
I’ve loved and had a deep connection with dogs from a very young age, getting my first dog when I was 8 years old (a standard schnauzer) and a Yorkshire terrier a couple of years later. Back home we have a rescue who I love to walk and teach new tricks to! I live with my boyfriend who grew up with his own border collie and is also a dog lover. Together we have absolutely loved looking after dogs on Rover. We provide a very loving and attentive home for the dogs that spend time with us ☺️

Matilde L was great looking after Cookie. She sent photos and updates throughout the weekend. From the start of our contract about booking her to have Cookie she has responded to messages quickly. In person she was warm and friendly. Would recommend 👌
Matilde and her partner were fantastic with Baxter, I could tell he was very comfortable with them from all the regular pictures and videos sent whilst I was away. Even taught him a new trick. Would definitely use again and recommend.
Matilde and Callum were absolutely wonderful! They cared for Odin for 14 days and went above and beyond, sharing photos and updates regularly without me even needing to ask. When I picked him up, he was so calm and happy—much more relaxed than with previous sitters—which really showed me how comfortable he felt with her. I couldn’t recommend Matilde enough to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive sitter
Matilde was such a lovely sitter! Cooper went with her quite happily and seemed to have a great time. Matilde kept in touch throughout and sent me pictures and updates of how Cooper was doing which was really nice. Our flight was slightly delayed on the way back and Matilde was so understanding that we were a little late in picking Cooper up. I would definitely recommend Matilde to anyone looking for a sitter!

I work from home every day so am able to provide plenty of care and companionship to your dog. including walks, playtime, feeding, and any special needs they might have.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. My boyfriend and I live in a 2 bed flat so have plenty of space, and pets are always kept safely indoors when we’re home. For exercise and play, I live near Peel Park, which is perfect for walks and outdoor time, as well as a few other smaller parks and green spaces. I make sure to follow any specific care instructions from pet owners, including feeding routines, medication, and preferred activities, and I always keep a close eye on pets to ensure they feel happy and secure.
A typical day
As I work at home, pets will never be left alone for long. We usually start the day with a nice walk in the nearby park to get some fresh air and exercise. Throughout the day, I make time for play, cuddles, and mental stimulation, like playing with toys or doing training games if they enjoy that. At lunch time and/or after work, we can head out for another walk or have some quiet time together, depending on their energy level. I always make sure to follow the pet owner’s routine to keep pets happy, comfortable, and relaxed.
