I grew up taking care of pets of all temperaments and ages, and have since continued befriending even the most stubborn and wild of pets! I am extremely comfortable with getting to know each pet on an individual basis— letting them choose the pace at which we get to know each other.
A typical day
I am consistent, patient and communicative, utilizing training games, treats, praise, and playtime! Besides free-play, exploration, and rewards-based training, I love to take dogs on walks and adventures outside. This ultimately leads to good bonding, behavior, and a fun day! Food and treats will be provided, and clean water always accessible, with a variety of toys for harnessing energy and mindfulness in play!

Hello! I am a pet-sitter and house-sitter with a background in training and cleaning, and a degree in Elementary Education- plus many years of relevant, professional experience! I've supervised classrooms, daycares, field trips, and summer camps; mealtimes, events, and guided hikes! My professions have been wonderful training in being able to meet the needs of others, including offering individualized services and care. Matilda and Kira were great! Lots of communication during Coho's stay to include photos. Plenty of walks, ball chasing, and play time. Will definitely reach out again in the future.
Matilda is an amazing dog walker/pet sitter. Matilda has puppy sat for my two large dogs (James and Harper) multiple times and they now get the zoomies when they hear that “Aunt Matilda” is coming. She recently stayed in my home for over a week taking care of my pups, not only giving them lots of love and kisses, but leaving the house cleaner than it was before I left. Matilda is professional, yet laid back, and incredibly attentive. She is great at communicating, reliable and sends frequent updates and even photos of the pups having a blast! Matilda is my go-to pet sitter! I would not trust anyone else with my fur babies and my home! If you want a loving and trust worthy human to care for your pets, I recommend Matilda as your number one choice! You won’t be disappointed!
