Being a passionate dog lover, my affection for these four-legged friends is unfathomable. This knowledge underpins my dedication to giving the best care possible, which makes me a trustworthy and kind pet sitter. My extensive understanding of the requirements, interests, and behavior of dogs is one of the main reasons I succeed as a pet sitter. Since each dog is different, I always try to adjust my methods to fit their personalities. I modify my caregiving approach to make sure every animal buddy is comfortable and happy, whether they are senior dogs who love a leisurely stroll or hyperactive puppies that are always ready for playing. Matilda was AWESOME from start to finish!! She met me at my hotel for the meet and greet the day before the actual boarding day. Instantly, my half chihuahua/dachshund, who normally does not like strangers, fell in love with her. She was responsive and very caring with my 2 dogs. She was even patient with me!! We all love Matilda and I definitely recommend her for all the potential pet parents out there. Never thought that leaving my boys to someone I have never met would be this stress-free. Thank you so much Matilda!
Matilda is top notch. She is great with communication before the dog sit began and kept me up to date all through the time she cared for my fur baby. She sent me pictures that made me feel so happy that my doodle was getting so much care! She is excellent at caring for animals and caring for a house.

Schedule
I only have in person classes at my college on Tuesdays, so I have plenty of time during the week and I can offer hours or overnight stays at my house or at your house. I am more than happy to drive to your destination and my wrangler is dog friendly. I live with my parents and my older brother at 25.

Whether I'm looking after a pet at a client's house or at my own, my first concern is always making sure they're secure, trusted, and in a comfortable setting. The particular strategy could change depending on the service provided, but the general ideas stay the same. I give them plenty of attention. I play with them, I cuddle with them, I listen to their needs and so if they are standing by the door wanting to go outside for a walk, I am more than happy to. I keep my own house free of dangerous materials and items so that pets can live there. In order to create a cozy and safe environment, I make sure that outside spaces are properly fenced in and that any possible hazards are removed. I build trusting relationships with pet owners by keeping them informed about their pet's welfare on a frequent basis. Sharing images, videos, and thorough reporting on meals, activities, and any noteworthy behaviors are all included in this.
A typical day
I customize my care programs to meet the specific needs of each pet. I follow the pet owner's directions to provide consistency and reduce stress for the animal, whether they are related to food schedules, exercise regimens, or special medical needs. I include the pet in my everyday activities by giving it regular walks, playing, and social opportunities. I make an effort to preserve the pet's feeling of normalcy by adhering to their set habits and including things they are accustomed to from their own house.
